
'P77' starring Barbie Forteza is coming to cinemas this July
On social media, GMA Pictures shared some behind the scenes snaps from the movie. Among the photos was a scene where Barbie can be seen cleaning a bloody toilet.
"Some nightmares look a lot like home. Uuwi ka pa ba kung ang bahay mo ay bangungot para sa 'yo?" the caption read.
According to the post, "P77" will be screened in July. No specific date has been revealed so far.
"P77," which stands for Penthouse 77, will also star "Firefly" child actor Euwenn Mikaell and veteran actress Gina Pareño.
The film is directed by Derick Cabrido, the filmmaker behind the Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 entry "Mallari," and produced by GMA Pictures and Clever Minds Inc.
Barbie is also set to star in the upcoming series "Beauty Empire" alongside Kyline Alcantara, Ruffa Gutierrez and South Korean actor Choi Bo Min.
The story will follow Barbie and Kyline's characters, Noreen and Shari, who are competitors in the beauty industry.

Rufa Mae Quinto says she and Trevor Magallanes never filed for annulment
Rufa Mae Quinto released new statements following the death of her husband, Trevor Magallanes. On Facebook, the actress stated that she and Trevor had never filed for annulment. 'Mag-asawa pa din kami ni Trevor,' Rufa Mae said, adding that they got married in the Philippines in 2016. She also expressed shock over becoming a widow. 'Let us just remember the good times that we had with my husband, Trev,' she added. Rufa Mae revealed in an Instagram post on Thursday that Trevor passed away. Rufa and Trevor got married in 2016 and welcomed their daughter Athena the following year. In January, Rufa said that she and Trevor were going through a rough patch but that she had no plans to file for divorce. PH, Japan mark 69 years of unbreakable bond
Despite being on opposing sides during World War II, the Philippines and Japan have come a long way since the normalization of diplomatic ties in 1956. Nowadays, the two countries' partnership is stronger than ever—spanning culture, trade, people-to-people ties, development, and now on security cooperation. This deepening connection was commemorated in Osaka, Japan, during the 69th anniversary of the Philippines-Japan Friendship Day. The event, organized by the Tourism Promotions Board of the Department of Tourism in coordination with the Philippine Consulate General in Osaka, showcased the rich Filipino culture and the strength of bilateral ties through music, fashion, and sincere tributes. 'Bubble Gang' teases upcoming spoof 'Ang'gre'

On social media, "Bubble Gang" teased its upcoming episode on Sunday, which includes a spoof of Kapuso spinoff "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre."
