Wolters Kluwer launches two new cloud-based tax and accounts modules in UK

Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting (TAA) has introduced two new modules, CCH iFirm Personal Tax and CCH iFirm Accounts Production, to its cloud-based CCH iFirm platform for UK tax and accounting professionals. According to the Dutch company, the new modules offer 'seamless', integrated solutions aimed at improving efficiency, reducing errors and supporting compliance across workflows. CCH iFirm Personal Tax is designed to simplify the tax return process with 'fully scalable', cloud-based technology. As a cloud-based solution, it removes the need for manual updates or separate upgrades. The module integrates data across the CCH iFirm suite, enabling quicker job completion. Key features include an intuitive errors and exceptions panel, customisable workflow templates and real-time data access. CCH iFirm Accounts Production is aimed at streamlining accounts production for accuracy and compliance. It supports workflows for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies under FRS 105. The company noted that this module offers customisable final accounts, validation alerts to reduce risk and built-in tools for seamless data migration. The new modules follow the launch of CCH iFirm AML in March 2024. Wolters Kluwer TAA Europe executive vice-president and managing director Bas Kniphorst said: 'These cloud solution modules represent a significant milestone in our commitment to innovation and quality. 'By providing cutting-edge tools that meet the evolving demands of the tax and accounting industry, we are strengthening our position as a leader in cloud accounting solutions. This not only enhances our product portfolio but also drives growth and reinforces our dedication to delivering exceptional value to our clients. We are confident these launches will empower professionals to focus on high-value tasks and deliver exceptional service.' Earlier this month, Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting España partnered with Malaga City Council in Spain to improve technological training for vocational students. The goal of this initiative is to strengthen students' professional abilities and increase their employability in a rapidly digitalising business environment. Wolters Kluwer operates in more than 40 countries, serves customers in more than 180 and employs approximately 21,400 people worldwide.
