The noise cancelling is serviceable. They obviously are not anywhere near as good as over the ear or even the pros. However, they do a good job and the conversation awareness feature is good. The Spatial Audio is good if not a little gimmicky.
"They connect instantly and switch devices (within the Apple ecosystem). The battery is good, and as it charges fast, it's fine for a day out or a long walk. They fit into my ear great, keeping the same basic design as the pros, just with changeable tips."

However, he did note that there was a negative to the built-in ANC which affects battery life. He added: "Along with that ANC technology, the more expensive buds get a case that can be charged wirelessly and it also features an in-built alarm which can be activated, via the Find My app, should you lose it.
"The only downside of using these ANC AirPods 4 is that battery life is slightly reduced when this feature is switched on."
