Bay Bank awards $30,000 to local nonprofits, celebrating 30th anniversary
GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Bay Bank celebrated its 30th anniversary on Wednesday by awarding $30,000 to local nonprofits in the Green Bay and Keshena areas. Ten nonprofits each received $3,000, reinforcing the bank's commitment to supporting programs that strengthen and uplift the region. SNC turning to community to increase interest after recent budget cuts 'This donation is important for our organization and all of the other organizations that are here today because it shows the commitment of this particular bank and shows how well ingrained in the community they are,' said Rashad Cobb of the Brown County United Way. U.S. Venture Open surpasses fundraising goal for 2025 event with nearly $5.2 million raised to fight poverty
APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – The U.S. Venture Open in Appleton kicked off Wednesday, as the largest single-day charitable event in the nation, seeking to raise $5 million to end poverty. Since the event's debut in 1986, the event has raised over $75 million, granting $60 million to help support solutions to address poverty, and this time around, it hit the goal, pushing that total to over $80 million over the past 40 annual outings.
