After ICE Arrest, Owner of Trump Burger Faces Deportation

The co-owner of restaurants dedicated to feverish support of President Donald Trump is facing the brunt of one of the MAGA movement's most beloved policies — deportation. Roland Mehrez Beainy, a Lebanese immigrant who began operating the Trump Burgers mini-chain in 2020, has been accused of overstaying his visitor's visa, which expired in February 2024, according to the Guardian. As a result, the 28-year-old was arrested by immigration officials in May. Beainy has also been accused of having an assault charge on his record and orchestrating a fake marriage in order to gain permanent residency — members of his own family called it a 'sham designed to game the system,' according to the New Republic. The Department of Homeland Security says there's no proof that Beainy and the woman he allegedly tried to secure legal status through ever lived under the same roof. In a statement provided to Fox, ICE said that, under the Trump administration, it's 'committed to restore integrity to our nation's immigration system by holding all individuals accountable who illegally enter the country or overstay the terms of their admission. This is true regardless of what restaurant you own or political beliefs you might have.' Beainy is calling the allegations against him '90 percent untrue' and has his immigration hearing scheduled for November 18, 2025. Burgers are cooked during lunch at Trump Burger. Brett Coomer So, while it doesn't look like the political theater behind Trump Burger is going to work in Beainy's favor, nothing is a guarantee. Trump is known to help friends and supporters, even going as far as pardoning the rapper Kodak Black, who was granted release when he was serving time for making a false statement to buy a firearm. Ever the busy man, Beainy is fighting immigration proceedings while still owning Trump Burgers in Flatonia, Kemah, and Houston, and is also embroiled in legal battles over the chainlet. There's one involving the landlord at the Kemah location where there's an accusation of an unlawful takeover. Beainy is also battling with Iyad Abuelhawa (also known as Eddie Hawa) over who actually owns what stake in the restaurant. Beainy claims he purchased Hawa's 50% stake for $65,000 and Hawa, who started the original Trump Burger in Bellville, says this is untrue and has filed a countersuit seeking $1 million in damages. Earlier this year, Eater visited the Houston restaurant and walked away quite unimpressed. 'The chargrilled burger patties are thick but bland, topped with a waxy cheese that lacks any memorable flavor,' says former regional editor Brittany Britto Garley. The atmosphere is painted as gauche and kind of creepy. Britto Garley spotted a little boy wearing a shirt that read 'Daddy's Home,' in reference to Trump's re-election. The final verdict came down to Trump Burger serving as a refuge for someone who 'supports [the Trump] administration's many compromising decisions.' Apparently, the restaurant can serve as a refuge for those people — just not the country. Owner of ‘Trump Burger' restaurant in Texas faces deportation after ICE arrest

The owner of a US President Donald Trump themed hamburger restaurant chain in Texas is facing deportation after the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detained him over allegations that he overstayed on his visa. Roland Mehrez Beainy, 28, who co-owns the chain of Trump Burger restaurants is facing ouster from the United States since he entered America as 'a non-immigrant visitor' from Lebanon in 2019 and should have left by February 12, 2024, an ICE spokesperson told The Guardian. The Lebanese national was arrested on May 16, five years after he had started the Trump Burger chain, by ICE personnel and was placed under immigration proceedings. The 28-year-old entrepreneur was released on bond on June 13 pending court proceedings. 'Under the current administration, ICE is committed to restore integrity to our nation's immigration system by holding all individuals accountable who illegally enter the country or overstay the terms of their admission,' a statement by the agency said. According to the Department of Homeland Security and ICE, Beainy allegedly attempted to get a legal immigration status via a 'sham' marriage. The petition to receive a legal immigration status was revoked by the US Citizenship and Immigration Services after no evidence of cohabitation was found, The Independent reported. Even though Beainy had a restaurant chain dedicated to President Trump, the DHS said enforcement applies 'regardless of what restaurant you own or political beliefs you might have'. Trump won his second tenure in November 2024 and started fulfilling his campaign promises in January, including a crackdown on illegal immigrants and mass deportations. Trump Burger owner faces deportation from US after ICE arrest

The owner of a chain of restaurants called Trump Burger is now facing removal from the US. Roland Mehrez Beainy supported Donald Trump's MAGA movement and even donated profits from his politically branded diners towards the president's election campaign. But he has now found himself a victim of Trump's flagship scheme to deport thousands of illegal immigrants. The 28-year-old was arrested by the president's Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice) on May 16. Authorities say Beainy has overstayed his visa, having entered the US from Lebanon as a 'non immigrant visitor' in 2019 and was supposed to have left the country by February 2024. A spokesperson for Ice said that it is committed to 'restoring integrity' to the immigration system, the rules of which it said applied to all, regardless of'what restaurant you own or political beliefs you might have'. But Beaizy insists that the allegations about his immigration status are false. '90 percent of the sh__ they're saying is not true', he told the Houston Chronicle. The entrepreneur launched his first Trump Burger restaurant in Bellville, Texas in 2020 – the same year Trump lost his re-election bid to Joe Biden. The group has since expanded to locations in Houston and Bay City. Restaurants boast Trump memorabilia as well as spoofs of the president's signature quotes such as 'make burgers great again'. More Trending On the menu are Trump-themed diner items, including Trump Tower burgers, The Big Swiss Deal and Melania Crispy Chicken in a nod to the First Lady. Beainy expressed hope in 2022 that Trump himself would pay the restaurants a visit, while also revealing he had faced threats that they would be burnt down. 'We're hoping that he sees the place', he told the Houston Chronicle. A provisional date for Beainy's immigration hearing has been set for November 18. Trump-Themed Restaurant Owner Faces Deportation

If you haven't heard, there is a Donald Trump-themed restaurant in Houston, Texas called "Trump Burger." The popular Texas chain sells hamburgers with the letters "T-R-U-M-P" etched into the buns... They have detailed artwork of Trump hanging on the walls... Oh, AND their menu includes items like the "Melania Crispy Chicken" and the "Barron Crispy Grilled," as well as a promise to "Make Burgers Great Again." Well, the "Trump Burger" has recently gone viral due to its owner being arrested by ICE for allegedly overstaying his visa. Roland Mehrez Beainy, the 28-year-old Houston "Trump Burger" owner, was reportedly arrested by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement for allegedly failing to depart the US last year after arriving in 2019 on a non-immigrant visitor visa from Lebanon. An ICE spokesperson said this in a statement about Beainy's arrest: "Despite false claims to the contrary, Roland Mehrez Beainy does not have any immigration benefits that prevented his arrest or removal from the United States. Beainy is a 28-year-old illegal alien from Lebanon who entered the United States in 2019 as a non-immigrant visitor, but he failed to depart by Feb. 12, 2024, as required under the terms of his admission." "ICE officers arrested him on May 16, 2025, and he was placed into immigration proceedings. On June 13, an immigration judge granted his request for bond while he undergoes his proceedings." "Under the current administration, ICE is committed to restore integrity to our nation's immigration system by holding all individuals accountable who illegally enter the country or overstay the terms of their admission. This is true regardless of what restaurant you own or political beliefs you might have." While awaiting his immigration court hearing set for November, Beainy has denied the charges, telling Chron, a Houston news website: "Ninety percent of the shit they're saying is not true." Obviously, the internet had some thoughts on this one, with multiple people comparing the news to a South Park episode... "South Park Creators rn: WRITE THAT DOWN WRITE THAT DOWN.." "They really thought it would affect everyone else but themselves," this person wrote. And finally, this person pointed out that Trump doesn't seem to care about his own supporters... Owner of Donald Trump-themed burger chain may soon be deported by president he worships

A Lebanese man who has been in the US since 2019 and started a chain of Donald Trump inspired restaurants could soon be deported by the president he worships The boss of an infamous Trump Burger chain could soon be booted out of the US by the very president he idolises. ‌ Homeland Security sources have revealed that restaurant boss Roland Beainy, 40, was arrested in May after immigration cops discovered he had overstayed his visa. ‌ Beainy, who hails from Lebanon, arrived in 2019 on a tourist visa and never left, even after it expired in February this year. Officials claim he's been living in America illegally ever since. The Trump fanatic launched his first burger joint in 2020, complete with MAGA-themed décor, and has since grown the chain to four outlets across the Houston area. It comes after Donald Trump was seen with a mystery mark in Scotland after his chronic health diagnosis. ‌ But his political loyalty isn't earning him any special treatment in the White House's sweeping crackdown on undocumented migrants, and he could soon see himself living in another country, the NY Post reports. In a fiery statement, the Department for Homeland Security said: 'This is true regardless of what restaurant you own or political beliefs you might have." ‌ Officials also claim the Lebanon native's bid for legal status was 'revoked' after his own family allegedly admitted his marriage was a sham to dodge immigration rules. Homeland Security didn't hold back, accusing Beainy of having 'no Green Card, a history of illegal marriages, and an assault charge', and even branded it a 'flagrant abuse' of US immigration law. ‌ The burger boss denies all wrongdoing, insisting the claims are 'not true' in a statement to the Houston Chronicle. He was released on bond in June while his deportation case drags on — but the fight is far from over. The Trump Burger brand has courted controversy before. A recent Facebook video showed a Trump impersonator jokingly asking Latina diners for their green cards. Adding to his troubles, Beainy is locked in a bitter legal row with the landlord of his Kemah branch. Archie Patterson claims he's owed money, while Beainy's side insists Patterson forced out staff and seized control of the site. For now, it's not known whether Beainy will be serving customers in Texas or back in Beirut in the months to come. His future is now in the hands of the courts. Earlier this year, a movement dubbed Operation Safeguard led to an increase in ICE and allied agencies to conduct mass raids across major cities, detaining tens of thousands including those with legal or pending status. At the same time, the administration dramatically expanded detention infrastructure and used military-style camps.
