Boots' 'saviour' £10 item 'smooths out fine lines and wrinkles' in days

Boots' £10 Tuesday event has seen the popular product discounted for one day only Boots shoppers are heaping praise on an "amazing" beauty product they say "smooths out wrinkles and fine lines." The product has been discounted too, as part of the retailer's popular £10 Tuesday event. The No7 Laboratories Dark Circle Corrector 15ml is now available for £10, down from £24.95, for one day only. The product comes in two shades - light/medium and medium/dark. According to Boots, the Dark Circle Corrector is "clinically proven to reduce the appearance of dark circles." It promised to reduce their appearance by up to 30%, delivering "both fast, visible results and longer-term benefits over time." The product is formulated with hyaluronic acid to help "visibly plump skin", while algae extract and the rollerball applicator "leaves your eyes feeling instantly soothed and cooled." The lightening technology used in the No7 product targets the three causes of dark circles so skin "appears firmed, calmed and less hyperpigmented." Alternatively, LookFantastic also stocks a number of products targeting dark circles and fine lines from different brands. These include the Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado for £30, the La Roche-Posay Pigmentclar Eyes 15ml for £24.80 (down from £31), and the Beauty of Joseon Revive Eye Serum Ginseng + Retinal 30ml for £15. The No7 Dark Circle Corrector has racked up a number of rave reviews online, with impressed shoppers praising the "amazing" results they've seen. One person said: "Dark Circle saviour! I've tried so many products for dark circles and this is the best one yet! The rollerball helps with puffiness and the colour is sheer enough that it doesn't cake under the eyes! LOVE IT!" A second wrote: "Wonderful stuff. Made a real difference to the shadows under my eyes, and didn't irritate my sensitive skin." A third impressed shopper added: "Gets rid of the worst bags in seconds! Fabulous under eye moisturiser with a light tint that goes on beautifully. "The rollers in the top are wonderful for massaging around tired eyes. Once applied, it smooths out fine lines and wrinkles and makes them look awake and refreshed. I would definitely recommend this to someone." However, not everyone was quite so impressed with the product. One shopper said: "Very disappointed. The colour makes my eyes look worse and does nothing for the appearance." Another buyer wrote: "Feels lovely when applying and absorbs well but that's about it. I've been using this now for 3 months and it's made no difference to dark circles, it's like a watery concealer, and expensive!" Despite this, others continued to heap praise on the Boots product. One excited shopper said: "Was very sceptical at first but then was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the difference in my under eye after I had applied this product, definitely reduces darkness and brightens up the eyes, would buy again. Great product." A fifth wrote: "Wouldn't live without it! Must have! Best product ever! Lightens dark circles, silky and smooth application." Another added: "This stuff is amazing. Genuinely my mind is blown. I bought in the 3 for 2 offer about a month ago. Started using it morning and night as part of my skin regime. "Within a week the thin black/purple bags under my eyes are gone. I use the eye cream too afterwards and I now don't even wear concealer under my eyes now. I used to put it on even if I was going to the bins my eyes were that bad. Not now. Stuff is wonderful!!!"

Cooling eye gel praised for making eyes ‘brighter and less puffy' in 30 seconds

Everything from hayfever to late nights spent dancing at festivals can leave you with puffy, tired eyes during summer, but this eye gel is said to improve them in 30 seconds Summer is all about making the most of the light evenings and sunny weather, which can often mean we're out late, up early, and spending plenty of time outdoors where hayfever and pollen are rife. All that can lead to puffy, tired and itchy eyes, not to mention a dark circle or two. However the Tata Harper Brightening Eye Gel promises to be an almost instant solution to all of that, with some shoppers saying it worked in under a minute. One glowing review of the eye gel said: 'I was skeptical but I have been a customer for 5 years with Tata Harper so I trust her products. Wow! It works, I woke up with puffy eyes and I used this nice cooling eye gel and in 30 seconds I saw my eyes brighter, less puffy and glowing the ingredients in this tube does its magic. Solution is consistent and I use it morning and night. I'm happy with this Eye gel.' The Tata Harper Brightening Eye Gel (£72) is packed full of skin-loving ingredients which help to restore the moisture and hydration to your delicate under-eye area, leaving it hydrated, plump and glowing. It contains kakadu plum and vitamin C which help to brighten up the area, as well as avocado which helps reduce puffiness and improve the appearance of dark circles. You'll also find a green coffee bean complex, which acts as a source of caffeine to boost the eye gel's effect and prevent tired looking eyes. It has a lightweight gel to cream formula which is cooling and soothing under your eyes, something which is only improved by the cooling metal applicator tip, which helps to de-puff your under-eye area quickly. Considering some reviewers saw results in 30 seconds, it's safe to say this is a beauty bag staple to take with you whether you're travelling, heading off to a festival, or just know you've got a late night in the sunshine planned. If you're looking for something a little more affordable, the Beauty of Joseon Revive Eye Serum Ginseng + Retinal is £15 for a 30ml tube. It promises to visibly smooth and firm the skin around your eyes with a gentle formula, and is a great way for beginners to introduce retinal into their beauty routine. Alternatively the De-Puff and Brighten Eye Gel from Byoma is £13 for 20ml and helps to cool and de-puff your skin whilst also reducing dark circles. However it's the Tata Harper Brightening Eye Gel that Space NK shoppers have been praising, giving it a 4.6 out of 5 star rating. One wrote: 'This is an excellent product! I've noticed a significant reduction in puffiness around my eyes, and they definitely look brighter. I highly recommend it!' One did comment: 'Love this product! My only critique is that the formula is a bit too thin for the applicator – when you squeeze it too much comes out at once, which leads to wasting product. A slightly thicker consistency or a more controlled dispenser could make a big difference.' Others however raved about it, saying: 'Perfect for new moms with dark circles from lack of sleep! Helps put a little pep back in your eyes.'
