This Bollywood film had over 20 kissing scenes, became biggest box-office flop, lead actress got no film after that, name is..., not Murder, Shuddh Desi Romance, Befikre From bold romantic scenes to evolved visual effects (VFX), Bollywood movies have seen massive changes in recent years. There were times when both filmmaker and actors were hesitant to shot full kissing scenes. However, today things have taken a shift and several films like Murder, Shudh Desi Romance , have out and out shown bold scenes. Emraan Hashmi, has attained the title of 'serial kisser' in Bollywood, due to his maximum lip-locks on-screen. But, surprisingly, this actor breaks his long-time record of having most kissing scenes in Bollywood. He is none other Neil Nitin Mukesh, for his 2013 movie 3G, alongside Sonal Chauhan. Directed by Shantanu Ray Chhibber and Sheershak Anand, the film had staggering 30 kissing scenes. Despite making headlines for its bold content, the film failed to make an impact at the box office. Made in a budget of Rs 13 crore, the net gross of the film was just Rs 5.48 crore, while the worldwide gross stands at Rs 7.45 crore. 3G broke Murder's previous record of most kissing scenes, but still couldn't capture audience's attention. With the lowest IMDb rating of 3.6, the film received heavy backlash from viewers and critics alike. 3G became one of the most lowest-rated films of all time. It was criticised not just for its weak storyline but also for its content. After 3G failed at the box office, lead actress, Sonal Chauhan left Bollywood, but continued working in other regional films. Sonal made a Bollywood comeback three years later with JP Dutta's Paltan. No other Bollywood film could break the record of 3G. The closest ones like Shuddh Desi Romance (2013), starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Parineeti Chopra and Vaani Chopra had 27 kisses. While, Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor starrer Befikre (2016) featured 25. But, none could break the record of 3G.
