Desire Lines: Penneys' customer app, Robyn Lynch in Brown Thomas and more
The jumper
Penneys' latest additions to its Edit range remind us that a new season is on the horizon, with olive greens, chocolate browns and tartan trenches set to dominate.
Make the transition with this 100% merino wool jumper, €28 and short jacket, €45, combo. Plus, now you can check for stock in your local before heading out.
The Irish institution has just launched an app which allows you to check stock, make a wishlist of your favourite items, and opt-in for personalised notifications to stay up to date on the latest arrivals and collection launches.
We're just hoping they add a click and collect feature soon. One can dream.
The menswear
ROBYN LYNCH x Brown Thomas Ireland Logo Jeans €215
One of Ireland's most exciting talents has launched her latest collection exclusively at Brown Thomas Dublin and Cork.
A central motif in the collection comes from a graphic adaptation of an 18th-century Saxon alphabet, discovered in a manuscript from the Abbey of Saint-Ouen in Rouen, while scans of vintage GAA jerseys have been digitally manipulated, layered, and recontextualised to create something modern without forgetting our past.
The lunch menu
Turkey Melt from Juice Jar
For those on a health kick this summer, may we draw your attention to Juice Jar on Dublin's Dawson Street?
The Belfast-founded chain recently set up shop in our capital, offering a delicious array of smoothies, juices, and iced matchas (try the mango variety), alongside a menu of toasted sambos and açaí bowls.
The macros and calories for each menu item are available on their website too, so you can keep going for those goals.
The haircare
Clairol Colour Studio Colour Protect shanpoo
Clairol has just entered the shampoo and conditioner space with its Colour Strong range, designed to elevate your at-home colouring experience.
The Colour Protect range works to combat the buildup of metals in the hair, one of the leading causes of that pesky problem of colour fade, while the Purple Toning collection is formulated to counteract brassiness in blonde and silver hair.
Priced at €9.50 each, it's a pocket friendly solution.
Available in Tesco, Dunnes Stores, SuperValu and select pharmacies nationwide
The festival

Cork on a Fork's wide-ranging culinary events will draw crowds to the city this August.
The itinerary includes a strong family focus. From pizza making to 'Hysterical History' tours to teddy bear picnics, there's something for all ages. From August 13.
The exhibition
Artist Tara O'Donoghue has launched her latest exhibition on Sherkin Island.
Artist Tara O'Donoghue has launched her latest exhibition on Sherkin Island.
