Bellbrook's drone, Full Throttle, was led by pilot and manager Darius Gainer, along with Ben Downing, Connor Payne, Connor Spriggs, Hayden Fisher, Andrew Bruckart, Zac Hansen and Olin Eppers.
The team not only won first overall, but also took the top spot in Capture the Flag and won in both the Marketing Video, and Portfolio and Design category.
Additional Bellbrook teams included the Drone-A-Soars and the Flying Saucers who took third and fourth in the overall competition, respectively.
Drone team leader and teacher Dave Lambright says it was a close competition this year with 27 teams competing, but the Bellbrook teams were up the the challenge.
'I think the quality of the teams out there this year was the biggest change,' said Lambright. 'But all of our teams were very competitive. We've never had three teams compete that solidly.'
