BHS Math League completes regular season, Langerak earns state invite
Feb. 13—BEMIDJI — The
Bemidji High School
Math League wrapped up their final regular season competition on Feb. 10.
The team placed first in every meet this season, clinching the division title for the Northern Lights Division and placing third in the section behind Sartell and Duluth East.
For individual awards, Dallas Dopp and Anika Ohnstad earned Honorable Mention with Megan Johnson receiving the Second Team All-Conference Award. Eric Bittman, Luke Dahlke, Tanner Johnson, Aaron Langerak and Evan Wild won the First Team All-Conference Award.
Langerak is also this year's Northern Lights Division Winner, earning a trip to state as an individual.
"Aaron had an incredible season and placed first as an individual at every single meet," a release said. "This is an amazing accomplishment, and even more remarkable that it was earned by a freshman."
The Math League State Tournament will be held on Monday, March 10, in Spring Lake Park.
