Drivers may notice street signs sporting a 'P' crossed by a broom with days and times listed for when parking isn't allowed. More Local News Those found violating the rules may be ticketed, even if a street sweeper has already passed. Throughout the year, there are specific days where Alternate Side Parking rules are suspended. In June, ASP rules will be suspended in observance of Shavuot, Eid Al-Adha, and Juneteenth. Parking rules will be suspended on the following days: June 2 and 3: Shavuot June 6 and 7: Eid Al-Adha June 19: Juneteenth Drivers are reminded that parking within 15 feet of either side of a fire hydrant is illegal and that painted curbs at hydrant locations do not indicate where they can park.
