The three remaining teams first faced the task of creating a viral patisserie window display. Before the pairs could dream of being crowned winners, they had to first navigate this tricky challenge, with one pairing being eliminated after it was finished. They were required to include gourmet cookies, gateaux de voyage and filled laminated buns - 12 of each and all baked to perfection. The show once again has the same judging duo. But who are they and what are they known for? In just a matter of hours, Bake Off: The Professionals will crown the winners of series 10. It has been another hard fought season and the competition has been fierce. Channel 4 has confirmed the start time for tonight's (July 29) final. Find out what challenges are waiting for the three pairs in the final this evening. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad Since debuting back in the mid-2010s, two of the judges have remained the same. Here's all you need to know: Who are the judges on Bake Off: The Professionals? Bake Off: The Professionals judges Cherish Finden (L) and Benoit Blin (R) | Channel 4 It will be a pair of familiar faces on judging duty for the 10th series of Bake-Off: The Professionals. Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden are returning to cast an expert eye, and several thousand expert tastebuds, over the contestants' creations. Blin is best known as the Chef Pâtissier at Raymond Blanc's Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons. He said: 'What I've really noticed is that the gap between the strongest and weakest teams has narrowed so much. And when you reach the second or third stage of the competition, you see the teams are all really close together. I think now all the teams really understand what the competition is all about, so they prepare a little better.' Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad Finden is formerly Executive Pastry Chef of the Pan Pacific London Hotel. Speaking ahead of series 10, she added: 'Hitting our 10th anniversary is like pulling a perfectly risen soufflé out of the oven – pure joy and satisfaction. Every series brings fresh talent, new surprises, and breathtaking creations. 'It is amazing to see how they evolve. I'm honoured to still be part of this journey and continue to inspire and challenge the best pastry in the industry.' Both Blin and Finden have been judges on the show since it began back in 2016 on BBC Two - when it was originally called Bake Off: Crème de la Crème. The duo have judged on all 10 series, including the one airing in 2025. Who are the hosts on Bake Off: The Professionals? Unlike the judges, the hosts of the show have changed a lot of the 10 series so far. Over the years the likes of Tom Kerridge, Angus Deayton and Tom Allen have presented the show. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad For series 10, former Great British Bake Off contestant and Junior Bake Off judge Liam Charles and comedian, actress and writer Ellie Taylor will be on presenting duties. They have hosted it together since series eight - with Liam first becoming a host on the show in series three. Liam said: 'I feel like the chemistry between myself, Cherish, Benoit, and latterly Ellie, just gets better and better the more time we spend with each other. I also think the challenges have got a lot harder. 'I know that's a bit rich coming from me, who can't do most of the challenges, but they seem to me to have got more difficult as the years have passed. The chefs are using a lot of cool new techniques as well. I think the show has just become a little more slick as time has gone by.' For most under the power of leader Ron Luce, believing you were meant to die a teen martyr for Christ was normal... It would appear there was so much for the Teen Mania Ministries escapees to unpack of their time at the church that Emmy-winning filmmakers Nicole Newnham and Cori Shepherd are back with a second season. They continue to focus on America's largest youth ministry, which attracted millions through wildly popular stadium shows known as 'Acquire the Fire'. Packed with Millennial-era energy and copious levels of cringe, the series captures massive crowds of teens swept up in fervent religious concerts, purity pledges, and missionary zeal — when all most of them needed was a decent regular rave to attend. Beneath the polished youth group image, it reveals rigid spiritual training, theatrical indoctrination, and emotional manipulation orchestrated by Luce. A Normal Woman Netflix, streaming now A socialite's life unravels when a mysterious illness — and her family's disbelief (and latent misogyny) — push her to sabotage her perfect facade and uncover a darker, truer self. Happy Gilmore 2 Netflix, streaming now Yay, 1990s nostalgia! Can you believe it took only three decades for a sequel to this Adam Sandler vehicle? That's either an exceedingly good or a not-so-good sign. It was also released straight to Netflix. Take from that what you will. Hitmakers Netflix, streaming now Twelve top songwriters and producers come together at high-stakes music camps to create hits for stars like John Legend, Shaboozey, and Lisa of Blackpink — revealing the creative tension and breakthroughs behind the music-making process (for humans). First, they must create six identical plant-based petit gâteaux before tackling hanging showpieces. In the Footsteps of Killers Channel 4, 10pm Emilia Fox and Professor David Wilson turn their attention to the 1994 murder of wealthy Leicestershire businessman Ken Brown, who was shot dead on his farm. Jacob also insists that the sheep be handed over to the Native American riders, while Teonna makes a stand against the abusive Sister Mary and Spencer falls in love in Kenya. The Madness of King George Film4, 6.50pm Brilliant period drama based on an Alan Bennett play. Nigel Hawthorne plays the king, with Helen Mirren as his queen. Trainwreck: The Real Project X Netflix, streaming now It's the weekly episodic that keeps on giving. This time, the good people at Trainwreck recount the fallout from a Facebook event posted by a Dutch teen. In 2012, she posted an invite for her 16th birthday, which accidentally went viral, drawing thousands to the small town of Haren. Inspired by Project X, the unplanned crowd overwhelms the area, and with no preparations in place, things spiral into chaos. ADVERTISEMENT Quarterback Netflix, streaming now Season 2 of the hit series offers rare access to three NFL quarterbacks — Joe Burrow, Jared Goff and returning favourite Kirk Cousins — as they navigate the highs and lows of the 2024/25 season, on and off the field. All The Sharks Netflix, streaming now If you're wondering, 'Why all the shark-related viewing of late?' Well, the simple answer is that we're currently in the run-up to July 14, which is Shark Awareness Day. This summer also happens to be the 50th anniversary of Jaws, so one should expect an inordinate level of shark-themed programming over the coming weeks. A lot of it, however, does seem somewhat at odds with itself. For instance, last week saw the release of Shark Whisperer, which featured a herd of conservationists expressing concern about people, like Instagrammer Ocean Ramsey, interfering with endangered sharks. Now, Netflix is proffering an almost oxymoronic competition show, where conservationists infiltrate the oceans to tick all the sharks off their assigned apex predator bingo cards. If you favour more traditional shark viewing — ie. without a nigh-dystopic gameshow element — Sharks Up Close With Bertie Gregory has landed on Disney+. Have you ever considered a parallel universe where Idris Elba is the UK prime minister and John Cena is the US president? Well, now's your chance! For context, their 'special relationship' is under threat on account of their huge egos, but — once confronted with a common adversary — the pair must learn to rely on each other.
