He then leaned over the dock and pointed his finger at Sheriff Ablett. A custody court officer took hold of He who then shouted to the sheriff: "I will kill you." A police officer in court went on to handcuff He who continued to pull away and shouted aggressively. Miss Kerr stated: "The sheriff feared for his safety and had never experienced anyone behave in such a ferocious manner." He pleaded guilty today to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner. Clare Ryan, defending, told the court: "This was a concerning incident - he had issues with mental health at the time. "He was struggling with the break up of his marriage as he had separated from his wife of three years and has two children. "He wishes to express his apologies and regret for acting in this manner." Sheriff Matthew Jackson KC deferred sentence until next September pending background reports and granted He bail meantime. The sheriff said: "The social worker can explain to me why you behaved in the dreadful way that you did. "As your lawyer has told you, this is a serious matter and a custodial sentence is at the forefront of my mind. "I will not make a decision until I see the reports before me."
