Andre Onana refuses to rule out Man Utd transfer exit as goalkeeper gives cryptic update on his future
MANCHESTER UNITED goalkeeper Andre Onana hinted he may leave this summer. Onana, 29, endured a rocky season at Old Trafford with a few erroneous displays between the sticks. 3 3 That has placed the keeper's future at risk with rumours suggesting he could be on his way out. The Cameroon international is now enjoying some time off and flew to Burkina Faso. Onana went to support ex-Ajax team-mate Bertrand Traore and his great initiative as he opened the Bertrand Traore Foundation, which is committed to making a lasting difference to disadvantaged children in Burkina Faso. The Cameroonian was then met by local media who asked him about his future at Man Utd and he suggested anything can happen with a cryptic response. Onana said: 'Will I leave? I don't know, we'll see!' This comes amid reports suggesting the Red Devils are keeping tabs on Aston Villa star Emiliano Martinez. The goalkeeper fuelled speculation of an imminent exit at Villa Park when he broke down in tears and took a bow in front of the Holte End after his team's final home game of the season. Some feared it was a farewell and since then he was also linked with a lucrative move to the Saudi Pro League. Meanwhile, Onana's contract doesn't run out until 2028, which means he has plenty of time to decide. Ruben Amorim responds to question about dropping Andre Onana after disasterclass against Lyon The shot-stopper has amassed a total of 101 appearances with the Manchester giants since his £47million move from Inter Milan in 2023. Onana counts 24 clean sheets and has conceded 148 goals during his two-year spell in Manchester.

Ajax end Galatasaray's long unbeaten streak with Europa League win
AMSTERDAM, Jan 30 (Reuters) - Ajax Amsterdam made sure of a place in the Europa League playoffs as they beat Galatasaray 2-1 at home on Thursday and went above the Turkish league leaders in the final group standings. Ajax finished the group in 12th spot while Galatasaray were 14th, also through to the next phase, but saw their 26-game unbeaten run come to an end. Bertrand Traore scored in the 23rd minute to put Ajax, who started the last night 16th in the standings, ahead before turning provider for Kian Fitz-Jim 13 minutes into the second half. Galatasaray, whose last defeat was to Swiss club Young Boys in the preliminary round of the Champions League in August, had chances to preserve their record but only got a late consolation from Victor Osimhen in added time. Nigerian international Osimhen had been guilty of missing the target with three good chances while substitute Michy Batshauyi squandered a sitter. Ajax's opener came after battling play from striker Brian Brobbey, who with his back to goal and after falling to the ground, managed to lay the ball off for Chuba Akpom to fire in a shot that Galatasaray goalkeeper Fernando Musiera parried to Traore, who neatly tucked away the rebound. A quick counter-attack led by full back Anton Gaael set up Ajax's second, with his cross not properly cleared allowing Traore to pass the loose ball for Fitz-Jim to finish. Ajax's 41-year-old goalkeeper Remko Pasveer surprisingly wore the captain's armband instead of usual skipper Jordan Henderson, who started the game, leading Dutch media to speculate the former England international may be leaving the club.
