'Distinctive' designer perfume that 'lasts over 24 hours' 50% less in Boots deal
This beloved Givenchy fragrance has remained a staple for many perfume buffs since it debuted in 1991.
Purchasing a new perfume is something that can be both exciting and expensive. It can be even pricier if that said bottle is one that has earned a famed reputation over the years.
Fortunately, Boots has come to rescue our bank balance by offering up to half-price on major brands such as Calvin Klein, Armani, BOSS, Ghost, Davidoff and much, much more.
One that has earned an almost perfect rating is the Givenchy Amarige Eau de Toilette, with reviews calling it a "timeless" and "distinctive" scent that has been a staple for many since the early 90s.
Even better, a large 100ml is now just £54.50, although it would usually cost £109, meaning shoppers are saving a full 50 percent off the RRP. Priced at £74.99 at The Perfume Shop, Boots is offering the better deal for customers.
Making its debut in 1991, Givenchy's Amarige, which is an anagram of the word mariage, has been described as a "veritable hymn to love" and was initially created as a fragrance for summer, so perfect for this time of year.

Its scent makes up a "beautiful bouquet of white flowers", with top notes of tangerine, violet and rosewood being mixed with heart notes of gardenia, mimosa, red fruits and ylang-ylang.
The scent then finishes on "vibrant yet muted" base notes of ambergris, precious woods, musks and vanilla. The bottle, which was designed by perfume legend Pierre Dinand, takes inspiration from the ruffles sleeves of a Bettina Blouse designed by Givenchy.
Looking for something a touch more modern, but with the same floral scent? Then Gucci's Flora Gorgeous Gardenia also boasts a floral-powered scent, with a 30ml now costing £41.49 after being reduced from £70.
A bolder floral fragrance that other shoppers might want to consider is the Jimmy Choo Blossom Eau de Parfum, currently a number one bestseller on Amazon where a 40ml has been reduced from £36 to £18.95.
As for the Givenchy fragrance, it has currently earned itself a 4.8 rating based on multiple reviews from Boots shoppers who have praised it as "so classy" and "the best perfume of all times."

"Not the type of fragrance that I was looking for. I am 29, I believe that a more mature in age woman would appreciate this fragrance. Not what I was expecting."
Nevertheless, another positive review read: "It smells really good and the perfume lasted for more than 24 hours."
