All American Boss Explains Why Season 7 Went Out on a Cliffhanger — Plus, the Latest on a Potential Renewal
In the event that All American does not return for an eighth season at The CW, fans will forever be left wondering about the outcome of one fateful football game. The teen drama closed out its seventh season Monday night with the high-stakes playoff match-up between the Beverly High Eagles and the South Crenshaw Chargers. In the episode's final moments, Beverly was down 24-20, and it all came down to the last play of the game. Beverly quarterback KJ received the ball and threw a long, long pass to the opposite end of the field… but as Jordan, Cassius and every single spectator watched the ball soar through the air, the credits rolled before we could learn where it landed. But as co-showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll explains to TVLine, it was hard to pass up the opportunity for a 'symbolic' conclusion to Season 7, even if it meant leaving storylines unfinished. 'The football games between Beverly and Crenshaw — they're always so personal. And this season especially, it is so much bigger than the actual game,' she tells us. 'It is symbolic of the unresolved nature of the Jeremy family and the Baker family and their relationship, of the unresolved nature of Khalil and Amina's relationship, of this new generation's struggle. For us, who won that game and who gets to declare themselves the victor of everything that went down over the season felt like such a powerful way to end the episode, and — fingers crossed — allow us to come back in Season 8 to pick up with the results of that game and how it affects them moving forward.' 2025 Renewal and Cancellation Scorecard! View List As for the show's yet-to-be-determined fate — which will likely be decided later this month, as broadcast networks unveil their 2025-26 lineups — Carroll says she hasn't gotten any indication from The CW about All American's renewal chances, but she's 'optimistic' about its potential to return. 'I mean, we haven't gotten a cancellation, so yay us?' the EP continues with a laugh. 'We're moving forward with our storyline ideas in hopes of getting a Season 8. We all know how this industry works, and there's so little we're in control of, but our hopes are that we will have another season and get to continue this story. Quite frankly, we've only just started to scratch the surface of this new generation. All American Renewed for Final Season at The CW — Find Out When It Will Air
All American fans, consider this your two-minute warning: The CW has renewed its long-running football drama for an eighth — but final — season. The series' 13-episode swan song, which will '[bring] generations of Crenshaw and Beverly together for a powerful conclusion,' is on track to air in 2026, TVLine has learned. Powering everything from social media to search engines lies a sprawling infrastructure of data centers, which are responsible for operating AI applications such as the very famous ChatGPT, Grok, Google Gemini, and others. Energy-hungry supercomputers that are embedded with a large number of data sets are quietly reshaping American neighborhoods, their ecosystems, and utility bills. A recent YouTube video shared by 'More Perfect Union,' titled 'I Live 400 Yards From Mark Zuckerberg 's Massive Data Center', sheds light on the growing concerns and living conditions of residents of Gallatin, Tennessee, home to Meta's largest and growing data centers. This video further highlights the broader implications that people are victims of, the cost humans pay for the budding AI centers, and their hunger for more power. How are the nearby communities being affected? The data centers, which should invite footfall and introduce revenues and funding for educational centers, have expenses for surrounding communities that are harsh and not at all reasonable. In Fayette County, roughly 50 miles from Georgia's state capital, it's the same story as in Mansfield. Jean and Joe Marschall reside next to an enormous QTS data center that is being built. Rezoning ordinances were issued by the residents without their approval, subjecting them to the constant noise, light pollution, and dust. "They do nightly pours over here… The lights are shining… 2:00, 3:00 in the morning," Joe Marschall says. Economic agencies and development authorities claim the land has produced more in tax revenues. In 2024, QTS's raw land property produced $1.13 million in taxes—compared to only $36,000 in 2021. But to residents, the price tag isn't merely monetary; it's personal, environmental, and psychological. Are the big tech companies silent? Or is it a pattern? Silence speaks volumes. Well, on the brighter side, all we see is the revolution, the big transformation, and the ease of working. But some people are paying for what they did not ask for. For us, residents like the Morrises and Marschalls are now struggling with noise, water supply, and surging bills. Is this the new era? Where progress is measured in watts and communities are left in the dark shadows of supercomputers and underground cables, which they did not ask for?

Two shelter pups in Texas are ‘perfectly mismatched yet inseparable.' Meet them
A peculiar odd couple is on the lookout for a new home and family after their little souls bonded at a Texas shelter. Meet Mack and Beverly, two adorable little pups with a ton of both love and energy, the Humane Society of Southeast Texas in Beaumont said. 'This week, we're doubling the love with two sweet souls who are truly better together. Meet Mack and Beverly, a perfectly mismatched yet inseparable pair of Shih Tzu mixes who are looking for a forever home — together,' the shelter said in a May 27 Facebook post. Mack is the older of the duo at age 11, with Beverly being the 'spunky sidekick' at 5 years old, the shelter noted. 'These two do everything side by side — napping, exploring, and soaking up attention. They're a classic odd couple that just works, and separating them isn't an option. They're bonded deeply and would be lost without each other,' the shelter continued. According to the shelter and their pet profiles, both dogs are cat-friendly and people-friendly, and they both get along well with other dogs.
