Salman Khan fights in an elevator in an action-packed scene, takes a unique route to announce ‘Sikandar' release on OTT
'Sikander' Bollywood's most beloved action hero, Salman Khan , recently made a grand statement not through a press conference or a poster drop but with fists flying and his signature charm intact. The superstar revealed that his film 'Sikandar' is now available to stream on Netflix and as expected, he did it in a style that only he can pull off with a dash of swag and a whole lot of action. In a freshly released promo video, Salman is seen in an elevator with his assistant. He casually hums a tune preparing for what appears to be a major announcement. As the assistant reminds him about the big reveal, Salman nonchalantly asks for his dialogues and the moment is lighthearted but it doesn't stay that way for long. The elevator ride is interrupted by a gang of rowdy goons. In true 'Bhai' fashion, Salman springs into action throwing punches and protecting his assistant, all while keeping his effortless style intact. Meanwhile outside the lift his team wonders what's taking him so long. 'Bhai kyu nahi aaye?' asks one. Another coolly replies, 'Bhai dilo mein aate hain.' And just like that Salman emerges and drops the line fans were waiting for: 'Sikandar is now on Netflix.' Box office stumble, streaming redemption? Originally hitting theatres on March 30, 'Sikandar' came with massive expectations. Directed by AR Murugadoss and co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, the film promised to be a commercial powerhouse. However the response was far from spectacular. The film had a lukewarm response at the box office and many also criticised it. But hopefully, fans will watch it in big numbers on OTT. OTT debut could offer second life Now, as 'Sikandar' lands on OTT, it might just find the audience it missed during its theatrical run. With Salman's promotional video already going viral fans are eager to revisit the film or perhaps give it a first shot on the comfort of their screens. Streaming platforms have a way of reviving films that struggled at the box office and with Khan's charisma leading the way, 'Sikandar' might still have a chance to shine. 'Bhai did more acting here than actual film': Salman Khan packs a punch in Sikandar Netflix release announcement
Salman Khan is all set to bring Sikandar to Netflix. The actor and the streamer launched a promotional video to tease the release of the movie on OTT. What's surprising though, is that fans think he has performed better in this than the actual movie. The video shows Salman in a lift with an assistant director from Netflix when a few goons come barging in. Salman takes charge and lets the goons know why he is the last person they should mess with. The video ends with Salman letting fans know when and where to watch his movie on Netflix. His fans were rather impressed by the action-packed adventure. 'Salman's energy here gives old Salman vibes. Good to see him back,' wrote a fan. Another said, 'This announcement is better than whole movie.' This was also said about Salman's performance. 'Did more acting in this ad for netflix than the whole film. Just Salman things,' wrote a person on Reddit. Another wrote on YouTube, 'Salman's acting in This announcement better than whole film..' 'That is solely because… Bhai aur Bhai ka kaam karne ka andaaz, dil mein aata hai, samajh mein nahi (Bhai and his style can only be understood by the heart, not by logic).' The movie is out now on Netflix. The streamer wrote on YouTube. 'Aap Sikandar ko dhundh rahe hain, aur Sikandar aapke ghar mein intezaar kar raha hai. Watch Sikandar, starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, out now on Netflix!' HT review of Sikandar read, 'Salman's dialogues in many of his previous films, apart from his hooksteps, are iconic. Here, in Sikandar, neither of them stands out. The music is weak, and none of the songs leave a mark. Santhosh Narayanan's background score works in a couple of places, all of them action sequences.'

Salman Khan announces Sikandar's Netflix release in his signature style – thrashing goons but with swag. Watch
Salman Khan has unveiled a brand new video packed with action, style, and drama — everything that fans associate with the superstar. But no, this isn't a teaser for a new release. Instead, it's a high-octane announcement about his film, Sikandar, streaming now on Netflix. In the clip, Salman is seen humming a tune inside an elevator. He is accompanied by his assistant, who informs him that it's time for the big announcement. Salman, ever the showman, asks for his dialogues — but their conversation is abruptly cut short when a group of goons enters the elevator. The suave superstar springs into action, protecting his assistant and thrashing the intruders. Meanwhile, outside the elevator, his team waits impatiently. One of them asks, 'Bhai kyu nahi aaye? (Why hasn't Bhai arrived yet?)' Another replies, 'Bhai dilo mein aate hain. (Bhai comes in people's hearts.)' The scene ends with Salman emerging to deliver his line: 'Sikandar is now on Netflix.' A post shared by Salman Khan (@beingsalmankhan) Sikandar originally released in theatres on March 30, but faced widespread criticism from both audiences and critics. The Indian Express' Shubhra Gupta gave the film 1.5 stars, writing, 'In 2025, when the three Khans turn 60, the struggle to stay relevant has never been as difficult: the world has changed, and Salman hasn't adapted. Nor has AR Murugadoss, who became familiar to Hindi-speaking audiences with Aamir Khan's 'Ghajini', a masala film which found its beats in its star, and his presence.' Despite the star power of Salman Khan, Sikandar garnered underwhelming numbers. The film earned Rs 184.6 crore worldwide, with a domestic gross of Rs 130.6 crore. Although the figures were decent on paper, they were considered underwhelming given Khan's massive box office pull. Additionally, reports suggest that the film's budget was around Rs 200 crore, making the earnings fall short of expectations.

Salman Khan faces heat over belly flash in viral concert video, netizens divided over his fitness at 59
Superstar has been facing harsh trolling online after an old concert video went viral, showing the actor dancing with female performers, only to have his t-shirt ride up mid-performance, revealing his belly. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now The clip comes on the heels of his latest film Sikandar crashing at the box office, prompting netizens to ask if Bhai's charm is finally wearing off. The video, believed to be from a Vancouver concert, features grooving to Leke Prabhu Ka Naam from Tiger 3. But what was meant to be a high-energy act soon turned into meme fodder as viewers fixated on his visible midriff and commented on his apparent discomfort and aging appearance. Social media exploded with reactions. One user wrote, 'Retirement le lo bhai.' Another added, 'Bhai, age is catching up. How long can someone stay fit?' A particularly harsh remark read, 'He's turned old, his body looks stiff. What kind of concert is this? The sad part is, there's no retirement policy for stars.' This isn't the first time Salman has sparked concerns. At 59, the actor was recently seen with a white beard, and fans speculated about his health after reports of a rib injury during the Sikandar shoot. His public appearances have also drawn attention for his slowed energy. Salman Khan ❤️ #bahijaan #salmankhan #sallubhai #tending #viralvideo #youtube #love #song But not everyone is trolling him. Maybe he's going through a phase. Let's be thankful he's still here. Everyone goes through ups and downs.' One netizen reminded everyone of Salman's legacy, 'Remember, he's the one who brought body-building culture to the mainstream. Age brings its own challenges. Let's not discourage someone who has given us so much.' Despite the chatter, Salman's career is far from slowing down. He's currently linked to a slew of high-profile sequels, including Andaz Apna Apna 2, Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2, Kick 2, and Dabangg 4. Buzz also surrounds a new project where he might portray an Indian Army officer in a film based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash. If all goes to plan, it could hit cinemas by late 2025.
