Esha Deol and her ex-husband Bharat Takhtani got divorced in 2024. They are parents to two daughters- Radhya and Miraya. Bollywood actress Esha Deol turned heads as she arrived with her ex-husband Bharat Takhtani at the Mumbai Airport on Friday. This marks their first public appearance together after they announced their separation in February last year. The actor and her ex-husband were spotted by the paparazzi at the airport. While Bharat Takhtani was seen heading toward the entrance gate, Esha briefly posed for the cameras before joining him. A video shared by paparazzo Sneh Zala shows Esha Deol and her ex-husband Bharat Takhtani stepping out of the car. Bharat was seen checking the luggage before swiftly making his way inside the airport. Meanwhile, Esha initially walked toward the other side, momentarily parting ways. She took a brief pause to pose for a few pictures for the paparazzi, maintaining her usual poise. After the paparazzi clicked her pictures, she made her way to the entrance gate and joined Bharat before heading inside. Esha looked chic in a grey and white striped top paired with baggy denim jeans. She rocked white sneakers, and was seen carrying a huge black and white handbag. On the occasion of Father's Day, the actress shared a rare photo on Instagram — her first photo with ex-husband since announcing their separation last year. In the picture, Esha is seen seated on a couch between her father, veteran actor Dharmendra, and Bharat. In the caption, she wrote, 'Happy Father's Day Here with my darling papa & Dada to my babies." Esha Deol married Bharat Takhtani in a traditional ceremony at Mumbai's ISKCON temple on June 29, 2012. The couple welcomed two daughters during their marriage — Radhya in 2017 and Miraya in 2019. In February 2024, Esha confirmed her separation from Bharat through an official statement, calling it a mutual and respectful decision taken in the best interests of their family. 'We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this shift in our lives, the best interests and welfare of our two children is and will be of utmost importance to us. Over a year after announcing her separation from Bharat Takhtani, Esha Deol has opened up about her current relationship with her ex-husband. She revealed that they've developed a new dynamic, adding that she doesn't label herself as a single mom. Esha spoke about her life after her separation in a video posted on a YouTube channel, Mamaraazzi. In the video, Esha was asked about her experience as a single mom to her two daughters with ex-husband, and whether she found it challenging or fulfilling. To this, Esha said that she doesn't like to think of herself as a single mother. Esha said, 'I don't like to think of myself as a single mother because I don't behave like one nor do I let the other person behave that way with me. It's just that in life, sometimes, due to certain things, roles change. And if it doesn't work out in a certain equation of what two people were at one point, you must take it upon you, especially when you have children, the two mature individuals must take it upon them to work out in another dynamic but keep the unit together for the sake of the children. And that's exactly what Bharat and I do.' Esha also emphasised the importance of mastering time management, sharing her own strategies for balancing work and parenting responsibilities while ensuring quality time with her kids. She said, 'Because without it, if your schedule goes for a toss, it creates guilt and there is instance, if one day, I have to shoot for 10 or 12 hours, I try and spend at least 4 hours with my daughters with complete dedication. On an off day, I spend the entire day with my kids. I do things that they enjoy so they feel satisfied and fulfilled that I am giving them 100 percent attention.
