'I played dirty with her' In a throwback interview with Stardust magazine, Govinda didn't hold back about how he handled the situation with Neelam. 'Neither did Neelam know about it. She got to know only after a year. I probably did not tell her because I did not want to break this successful screen pair. And to be honest, to a certain extent, I did exploit my personal relationship with Neelam for professional ends. I played dirty with her. I should have told her that I was married,' he said. ‘Dil pe patthar rakhna padta hai hero ki biwi hone ke liye', says Govinda's wife Sunita: ‘I can't say I trust him now'
Actor Govinda's wife Sunita Ahuja often makes headlines for her bold statements. In a recent interview, Sunita spoke candidly about the difficulties of being a star wife, noting that it requires a strong-headed individual to be married to an actor who spends much of his time with leading ladies. In a recent conversation with Deccan Talks With Asif, Sunita shared how she dealt with link up rumours of Govinda. She said, 'Its been 38 years. All these link ups used to happen back in the days when we were young. I didn't hear a lot of rumours and even if I did, I didn't bother. I am a very strong headed person.' When asked if she trusted her husband to not be bothered, Sunita quickly replied, 'I used to trust him, I can't say I trust him now.' Sunita added, 'Dil pe patthar rakhna padta hai hero ki biwi hone ke liye. They spend most of their time with their heroines, and not their wives. I really love Govinda from the bottom of my heart and I will always love him.' She shared, 'Being his wife, I am still waiting for him and his films. I can understand his fans anxiety. Govinda should work. He first needs to look at his health and lose at least 20 kgs.' Previously too, the star wife had talked about Govinda's rumoured link ups and expressed her firm conviction that he will never break his family for any third person. She told Times Now, 'I don't think Govinda can live without me, nor can I live without Govinda. And Govinda can never leave his family for any stupid person or stupid woman.' Govind and Sunita Ahuja secretly married in 1987. They kept their relationship private until the birth of their daughter Tina in 1988.

Wamiqa Gabbi is glad that she's learnt to say ‘no'
Wamiqa Gabbi, who will next be seen in the film 'Bhool Chuk Maaf', has talked about that one 'mistake' she made and is thankful for. The actress said it was learning to say 'no'. Asked if there is a 'Bhool Chuk' that she made and is thankful for, Wamiqa told: 'It's saying no.' The 31-year-old actress is now glad that she's getting comfortable with saying no, when needed. 'At that time it feels like such a mistake. Saying no at times feels like such a… It feels like I hope I am not doing something wrong by saying no. But that is something that I'm so glad that getting comfortable with saying no is such a nice thing.' The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan under the Maddock Films banner, with music by Tanishk Bagchi, lyrics by Irshad Kamil, and vocals by Tanishk Bagchi and Madhubanti Bagchi. Talking about 'Bhool Chuk Maaf', directed by Karan Sharma, the film revolves around Ranjan, a small-town romantic boy from Banaras,who lands a government job to marry Titli but forgets his vow to Lord Shiva-only to be trapped until he fulfills his promise. A hilarious tale of love, fate, and redemption unfolds. Director Karan Sharma started his journey from Delhi and stepped into Mumbai in 2005. His short film christened Black Holi is internationally acclaimed as a best narrative short film. The film was supposed to hit the screens on May 9, however the makers on May 8 announced that it would now release digitally on Prime Video on May 16, in 'light of recent events and the heightened security drills across the nation' after the Indian Air Force targeted the terrorists' sites without crossing the Pakistan airspace. However, the release of the film has now hit the pause button. The Bombay High Court granted an ad-interim injunction restraining Maddock Films from releasing Bhool Chuk Maaf on OTT platforms before completing its agreed-upon 8-week theatrical run with PVR Inox. PVR Inox, in its court plea, argued that the last-minute change was a breach of the contract signed between the parties on May 6, 2025. The agreement specified that the film must have an 8-week window before it can be released online.
