CM Revanth pushes for rollout of 14-digit Bhudhaar

Hyderabad: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday directed officials to prepare comprehensive plans for implementing Bhudhaar numbers across Telangana. The Bhudhaar number—formally called the Unique Land Parcel Identification Number (ULPIN)—is a 14-digit code assigned to each land parcel. Similar to Aadhaar for individuals, it serves as a permanent digital identity for land, linking directly to land records. The Congress govt views this as a key step toward digitising and streamlining land management, replacing outdated manual systems with a more transparent and efficient platform. During a review meeting on the revenue and housing departments at the command control centre, the CM instructed officials to ensure readiness for inaugurating Indiramma houses by the end of the month. Officials reported that a large number of these houses have already been completed in multiple districts.
