In its monthly data released on August 8, the ministry also said that face authentication reached an all-time high of 193.6 million transactions in July 2025, compared to 57.7 million transactions during the same period in the previous financial year. This also marks a 22 per cent sequential growth from June 2025. The ministry added that July also saw the highest number of face authentication transactions in a single day, with over 12.2 million transactions recorded on July 1, 2025.
