JKBOSE Bi-Annual exam 2025 for Class 10, 11 postponed due to inclement weather: Check details here
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has announced the postponement of the Bi-Annual Examination 2025 for Classes 10 and 11. The exams, which were earlier scheduled to begin on August 18, 2025, will now be conducted on a later date.

Reason for postponement
According to the official notification, the decision has been taken in view of the recent cloudburst and adverse weather conditions across Jammu and Kashmir as well as the Union Territory of Ladakh. The board clarified that the revised schedule for the JKBOSE Bi-Annual Exam 2025 will be issued separately and shared through all official communication channels.
An official statement read, 'Fresh dates will be notified separately. All centre superintendents and jurisdictional Station House Officers (SHOs) are requested to be informed accordingly.'
The board further highlighted that this step has been taken in the interest of student safety. In particular, the cloudburst situation in Kathua district and overall inclement weather across the region prompted the rescheduling.

Authorities have also directed all sub- and branch officers to circulate the information promptly through WhatsApp groups and other designated official platforms to ensure that candidates are informed without delay.
