Mallika Sherawat denies joining Bigg Boss 19: Not doing and never will
New Delhi, Jul 29 (PTI) Bollywood actor Mallika Sherawat said she won't be a part of the upcoming reality show 'Bigg Boss 19" and has no plans to be in it in the future. The 'Murder" actor shared a post on her Instagram story on Monday. Following the rumours around her possible appearance in the show. 'Putting an end to all the rumours, I am NOT doing 'Bigg Boss' and NEVER WILL. THANK YOU," she wrote in the post. The actor has, however, appeared in the show last year for the promotion of the film 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video", which released in October 2024. 'Bigg Boss 19" is set to premiere in the late August and is an Indian adaptation of the American show 'Big Brother". The upcoming season was announced by the makers last week and have also introduced the new logo for the show. Sherawat's latest work is 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video". Also starring Tripti Dimri, Rajkummar Rao and Vijay Raaz, the film was directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa. It revolved around a freshly married couple, who gets threatened after a CD containing their private clips goes missing. Sherawat essayed the role of Chanda Rani in the film. Mallika Sherawat sets record straight, says not doing Bigg Boss 19 and never will
Bollywood actor Mallika Sherawat denied rumours about her potential participation in 'Bigg Boss 19'. On Monday, Sherawat confirmed on social media that she would not be participating in the upcoming season of the reality her statement, the 48-year-old wrote, "Putting an end to all the rumours. I am not doing 'Bigg Boss' and never will. 'Bigg Boss 19' is reportedly set to premiere this August on JioHotstar. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will return as the host. However, it is said that he might not stay till the end of the season. Also known as Flying Beast, he is a well-known YouTuber. In one of his recent vlogs, Gaurav said that he will not be going on Bigg Boss 19. He denied and clarified all the rumours of him joining the show. He shared that many people have been messaging him to ask if he would be participating. In his vlog, he explained, 'Arre bhai nahi jaa raha main Bigg Boss 19. Logo ne pareshan kar diya hai. Koi PR page hai usne laga di meri photo ke main jaa raha ho aur bhi teen chaar log hai.' He went on to explain that before COVID, he was approached to be a contestant on the show. Even after that, when they were inviting couples, he was again approached. But at the time, he was busy and could not go. He continued, saying that one should never make statements on social media confirming or denying anything in advance. He added, 'Social media pe aap kabhi kuch danke ki chot pe nahi bol sakte ke 'main kabhi Bigg Boss jaunga hi nahi'. Toh kuch aisa hai nahi, par haan main iss baar toh nahi jaa raha.' He revealed that spreading such information is a way of Bigg Boss' marketing. Aniruddhacharya, a Hindu religious preacher often viral on social media for his interactions with devotees, has apologised after his latest remark — implying women who are unmarried at 25 or older are usually promiscuous — led to an outrage. He said women who have hit the age of 25, and are yet unmarried, are not fit to marry as they've had multiple relationships by then.
