Shehnaaz Gill has been admitted to the hospital recently, leaving fans in worry what happened to her. Karan Veer Mehra, who recently asked fans to pray for her speedy recovery, talked about her health and shared what exactly has happened. Karan Veer Mehra drops an update on Shehnaaz Gill's health In a candid conversation with Times of India, the Bigg Boss 18 winner revealed that he and Shehnaaz were partying together the night before she hospitalised. He said, 'She's not feeling good. We were just chilling together with some friends. She was there. And the next day, she was in the hospital.' Karan Veer Mehra further underlined that Shehnaaz Gill has got food poisoning and she is recovery well. Mehra added, "She had food poisoning. Nothing major. Food poisoning can get serious, and the doctor suggested that she should get admitted as a precaution. When I met her, she was not feeling well, but I'm sure with rest and medication, she will recover soon.' Lately, Karan Veer Mehra had posted a video of him with Shehnaaz Gill from the hospital on his Instagram story. In the shared clip, Karan had asked the fans to pray for her speedy recovery. Both actors participated in the Salman Khan show, in separate seasons. While Gill was part of Bigg Boss Season 13, Mehra won the immediate previous season. The much-loved show is now gearing up for its 19th Season, premiering from August 24, 2025 onwards. Shehnaaz Gill debuted on the big screen with Salman Khan starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. She later did a few music videos and a film, Thank You For Coming, with Bhumi Pednekar. The actress was also seen in an item song in Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri's comedy drama Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. Talking about Karan Veer Mehra, he is currently working on Silaa, directed by Omung Kumar. Starring Harshvardhan Rane and Sadia Khateeb in the lead roles, the movie is presently in production. Reportedly, Karan Veer is playing the villain in Silaa.

Meanwhile, one of Parag's earlier interviews has caught the attention of netizens, in which he shared how emotionally overwhelmed he was when Shefali left to participate in Bigg Boss Season 13. His words not only reflect the deep love he had for her but also raise concern for his well-being during these trying times. Opening up about how much he missed his wife while she was away for the reality show, Parag revealed that he didn't truly understand the depth of his love for Shefali until she entered the Bigg Boss house. Speaking to Times of India TV, he said that those days helped him realise just how much she meant to him, as he missed her every single moment. Recalling the emptiness he felt at home, Parag said he missed her most when something joyous happened. 'I used to be awake the entire night thinking about how to tell her. I used to share with my parents, but I have always shared everything with her, and she was not there,' he added. Proudly stating that he has no ego or issue in being known as 'Shefali Jariwala's husband', Parag emphasised the importance of supporting each other's dreams in a strong, lasting relationship. 'I have also done a lot of work, but nothing makes me happier than being addressed as Shefali's husband. It makes me proud, I am getting goosebumps right now,' he added. Shefali, who rose to fame as the 'Kaanta Laga Girl' in the early 2000s, was previously married to musician Harmeet Singh of Meet Brothers in 2004. The couple parted ways in 2009. After her separation from Harmeet, she began dating Parag Tyagi and the two eventually tied the knot in 2014. She passed away at the age of 42 on Friday (June 27) in Mumbai.
