The Bihar School Examination Board has started registration for students who cleared class 10th examination and wish to seek admission into class 11th, through its Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS) in different colleges/schools affiliated and recognised by BSEB. The registration process begins today, April 24, 2025 and ends on May 3, 2025. Students can apply for admission in intermediate courses of Arts/Science/Commerce/Agriculture/Vocational in different schools and colleges through an online Common Application Form (CAF) available on by paying a fee of ₹350/-. Bihar Home Guard Admit Card 2025: The Bihar Home Guard and Fire Services Department has released the admit cards for the home guard physical efficiency test. Candidates who are taking the test can download their admit cards from the official website at Notably, the admit cards have been released for candidates hailing from Bhojpur, Munger, Lakhisarai, Darbhanga and Purnia districts only. The admit cards for candidates belonging to other districts will be made available on the website in due course. It may be mentioned here that candidates are required to meet certain physical parameters to be able to appear for the exam: For instance, the minimum height for male candidates of all categories (except districts of Purnia and Kosi division) should be 5 feet 4 inches (162.56 cm). For male candidates from the districts of Purnia and Kosi division (Purnia, Araria, Kishanganj, Katihar, Saharsa, Supaul and Madhepura districts), the size of the chest should be 30 inches (76 cm). There will be no chest measurement for female candidates of all categories. Also, the physical standards and criteria of physical efficiency test for third gender candidates will be the same as for female candidates. Bihar OFSS Class 11 admissions 2025: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will start the online application window for admissions to Class 11 for the 2025–27 academic session starting today, April 24, 2025. Students interested in pursuing Arts, Science, or Commerce streams can submit their OFSS BSEB applications via the Online Facilitation System (OFSS) portal. The application period will continue till May 3. Students can visit the official website– to apply for admission. To ensure a hassle-free application process, interested candidates have to collect some of the important documents, including marksheets, photographs, and category certificates and have to keep them prepared in advance. The official OFSS website also guides aspirants by sharing comprehensive guidelines and eligibility details to help BSEB students and parents navigate the application procedure. Bihar OFSS Class 11 admissions 2025: Application fees To apply for admission, students are required to complete and submit their BSEB OFSS application forms online via the portal. The application fee has been revised to Rs 350 — an increase of Rs 50 from previous years. The BSEB OFSS application will only be considered valid once the admission fees are paid successfully. BSEB Bihar Class 10th Results 2025 The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) had declared the results for the Bihar Board Matric (Class 10) exam 2025 on March 29. This year, in the Bihar Board Class 10 exams, more girls participated than boys. A total of 805,392 girls appeared for the exams, while 752,685 boys took part. Overall, the total passing percentage for the BSEB Matric (Class 10) result 2025 is 81.11 per cent. The gender-wise pass percentage for the recent examination reveals notable trends. Among male candidates, a total of 752,685 students appeared for the exam, out of which 629,620 passed and 123,065 failed, resulting in a pass percentage of 83.65%. Meanwhile, 805,392 female candidates took the exam, with 649,674 successfully clearing it and 155,718 failing, bringing their pass percentage to 80.67%. Collectively, across both genders, 1,558,077 students appeared for the exam, out of which 1,279,294 passed while 278,783 failed, leading to an overall pass percentage of 82.11%.
