Liliana reminisced about the guidance Dave once offered, penning: "When he said: 'Lil, you should learn how to ride a bike'. I said: 'My love, I have you to do that. We enjoy sharing a bike ride together too much.'". She continued: "When he said: 'You should follow recipes and cook nice food'. I said: 'But my darling, you're cooking for me wonderful food... kitchen is your territory.'". She also recalled their conversations about independence: "When he said to me: 'Lil, you should get out there more, explore more on your own.' So that was the very first thing that just hit me. I was visiting as a friend, but from that moment on my heart just melted." After Myers' untimely passing at the age of 66, he is remembered for his infectious charisma and gastronomic fervour. Cities should embrace the culture of alfresco dining
