Millcreek government study commission works for finalize recommendation
The Millcreek government study commission continued to do their research when it comes to exploring a new form of government.
On Monday night, the seven-member commission met again at the Millcreek municipal building to review their findings and talk more about potential forms of government.

One commission member, Bill Schaaf, said they have been researching other townships and are putting the pieces together to finalize their recommendation.
He said they aren't ready to make a public recommendation yet, but the community could be seeing an announcement before the end of May.

'We're getting close to putting it all together, and we'll put a recommendation and essentially a treatise on the findings and facts as to why we think we should do it, if it's anything other than leave it the same,' said Schaaf.
Schaaf said once the recommendation is set in place, they will be hosting public seminars for Millcreek voters to learn more and give their feedback.
