Two arrested on drug-related charges after meth seized from Caldwell County home: Sheriff
CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Two people are facing drug-related charges after deputies searched a home in Caldwell County.
Sheriffs executed the search warrant on a home in the 2900 block of Pioneer Trial in Hudson on Mar. 14. Deputies say the home was used for selling methamphetamine.
Detectives took 58-year-old Billy Ray Potter and 30-year-old Kenzie Lynn Caldwell into custody as they searched the home.
Agents seized approximately 22 grams of methamphetamine and $600 US dollars. The street value of the narcotics is $3,300.

Following the search, Potter was charged with one count of PWISD methamphetamine and maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances. Potter is currently under indictment for prior narcotic trafficking charges, officials say. He was placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under no bond.
Caldwell, who is currently on probation for narcotic charges, was charged with maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances. She was placed in the detention center under a $25,000 secured bond.
