Man denies murder of Reanne Coulson whose body was found in woods
A man has appeared in court to deny the murder of a missing woman whose body was found in Coulson, 34, was last seen in Coventry in May and concerns were raised by her family after she failed to make contact with them on her birthday on 17 body was discovered in Binley Woods on 27 June after a major search operation involving West Midlands Police and specialist teams from across the Warwick Crown Court on Thursday, Mohammed Durnion, 42, pleaded not guilty to murdering Ms Coulson on 21 May. Reanne Coulson: Body found in woods confirmed as missing woman
Police have confirmed a body found during a search of a wooded area is that of missing Reanne Coulson. The 34-year-old woman was last seen in Coventry in May and concerns were raised by her family after she failed to make contact with them on her birthday on 17 June. Following her disappearance, a major investigation was launched by West Midlands Police. The force said that "as a result of information received", a woman's body was found on 27 June in Binley Woods near Coventry. On Tuesday, the body was formally identified as that of Ms Coulson, who was from the city. "We have spoken to Reanne's family, and are continuing to support them. We are carrying out further inquiries to establish how Reanne died," the force said in a statement. Ms Coulson was last seen leaving a food bank on Raglan Street in Coventry late in the evening of 21 May. A 42-year-old man, Mohammed Durnion, appeared in court last week charged with murder. And a second suspect, 38-year-old Adam Moore, has been charged with assisting an offender. Both defendants have been remanded in custody to appear at Warwick Crown Court later this month. Detective Superintendent Jim Munro, who is leading the investigation, said: "We are continuing to do all we can to support Reanne's family at this awful time, and our thoughts remain firmly with them. "The investigation is continuing and I still really want to hear from anyone with information that might help us as we continue to work tirelessly to get answers for Reanne's family."

Reanne Coulson: Body found in woods confirmed as Coventry woman
Police have confirmed that a body discovered in woodland on the outskirts of Coventry is missing Reanne Coulson. The 34-year-old from the city had been missing for a month after she was last captured on CCTV as she left a food bank on 21 May at St Mary & Benedict Church on Raglan Midlands Police found Ms Coulson's body in Binley Woods on 27 June. The force said her family had been made aware of the formal identification and were being supported by specialist officers. It added that Mohammed Durnion, 42, had appeared in court charged with her murder, as well as Adam Moore, 38, charged with assisting an offender. They have both been remanded in custody. The force said it continued to carry out further enquiries to establish how Ms Coulson died. Det Supt Jim Munro appealed for anyone with any information to contact the police. Ms Coulson's older brother Ashley previously thanked the public for their help to find Reanne and asked that the family be left alone to at a press conference before her body was found, Kirsten, Ms Coulson's sister, said she was "loved by many" and it was "out of the ordinary" for her to not return home."Reanne is not only my sister but my twin sister, a mother, a daughter and an aunt," she added. Coventry charity's 'heartbroken' tribute to Reanne Coulson
A charity has paid tribute to Reanne Coulson after police searching for the missing woman found a body and charged a man with her body was discovered in Binley Woods, on the outskirts of Coventry, on Friday afternoon. Formal identification has yet to take place but police said they believed the body to be that of Ms Coulson, who had been missing for a a short tribute on Facebook, Haven Women's Aid said: "We are deeply sorry and heartbroken to hear this devastating news. Our thoughts and condolences are with Reanne Coulson's loved ones, and with all who are affected by this unbearable loss." On Thursday, before the body was found, the charity urged people to "never become desensitised" to male violence against women and girls."We must keep saying their names and we must never stop fighting to end violence against women and girls."Mohammed Durnion, 42, appeared at Coventry Magistrates' Court on Saturday charged with 34-year-old Ms Coulson's man, Adam Moore, 38, was charged with assisting an men were remanded in custody with Mr Durnion due to appear at Warwick Crown Court on 1 July and Mr Moore at the same court on 24 Coulson's family had made appeals for help in the older brother Ashley thanked the public for their help and asked for the family to be left alone to grieve. A man has appeared in court charged with murdering 34-year-old Reanne Coulson. Mohammed Durnion, 42, was remanded in custody at Coventry Magistrates' Court ahead of another hearing at Warwick Crown Court on Tuesday. Ms Coulson hasn't been seen since May, but police believe a near is hers. Adam Moore, 38, also appeared at the same court and is charged with assisting an offender Detective Superintendent Jim Munro, from West Midland Police, said: "We've been focused on doing all we can to find Reanne and our thoughts remain with her family at this deeply distressing time. "While formal identification still needs to take place we do believe it is Reanne. "We've charged a man with murder, and another for assisting an offender, but our inquiries to establish exactly what happened and why are ongoing."
