All the places you can get free food on A-level results day
Students across the country will be looking to celebrate (or maybe commiserate) as they receive their A-level results. Various restaurants across the UK are offering deals, discounts and freebies to students on results day, so you can have your fill regardless of whether you got the grades you were hoping for. From pizza to chicken and dessert deals too – there's plenty for you to choose from to mark the occasion. Here are all the free food deals you need to know about this A-level results day… Nando's is famed for its results day offer, and students can get some of the famous chicken on the house to celebrate. You can get a free quarter chicken or any starter when you spend £7, which is fairly easily done once you get a drink and anything else to eat. Bring your student ID and results (this can be an email or printout) and show them to the cashier when you order. The offer is valid to eat-in or walk-in collect. The New York-Italian chain is offering a free margherita pizza for students, for one day only. You can claim the freebie, which normally costs £11.75, by showing proof of 2025 exam results when dining in. The offer runs all day on 14th August for A-level students and all day on 21st August for GCSE students. This new pizza spot at 3 Henrietta Street in Covent Garden is offering free dessert to students on and around A-level results day. All you have to do is buy a pizza, such as the iconic Potato Pizza, Ndjua with rocket and Pecorino or the Covent Garden Vegan, and then claim a free sweet treat by showing your results. Dessert options include a Skillet Cookie with chocolate chip ice cream and white chocolate sauce or an English Rhubarb Knickerbocker Glory with whipped cream, poached rhubarb and Madagascan vanilla ice cream. The offer is running from August 14 to August 17. Students can claim a free iced matcha latte worth £4.50 on A-level results day, choosing from a selection of over 20 flavours. All you need to do to redeem your free drink is show your results and student ID at the cash desk. The offer applies to one free drink per persona and will be available at all Bird & Blend stores between 11am and 5pm. Bird & Blend locations include Bath, Brighton, Bristol, Cambridge, Canterbury, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow, Guildford, Leeds, Lincoln, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Norwich, Nottingham, Oxford, Rye, Sheffield, Worthing, York and London sites: Angel, Borough, Covent Garden and Portobello. This year, you can get yourself a free portion of churros if you visit Las Iguanas between August 14 and August 21 with your results. It's best to book your table in advance to avoid disappointment, and don't forget to take your A-level results with you to prove that you're eligible for the offer. On August 14, you could claim a free starter and dessert if you show proof of your results to your server. There is one catch though, the freebies are only valid if you order a main dish. But there's good news – the offer applies to your whole table, not just you. Take a fellow adult along with you to Chiquito after getting your results and one of you will be eating for free. That's because 2025 graduates are able to claim a free adult main meal, with the purchase of one other adult free main meal. The cheapest main will then be discounted from the final bill. All you have to do is show proof of your exam results or proof of 2025 graduation. There is a slight catch though – the offer excludes the Ultimate Fajita, Whole Rack of Ribs, and Mexican Sirloin. Any additional upgrades or double up fillings will be charged separately and you also can't use it in conjunction with any other deal, set menu, voucher or discount. The offer is running from now until December 4, so you've got a little while to claim your free food, but worth noting that you cannot do so on key calendar dates such as Father's Day, Christmas Day, etc. Chiquito asks that you let your server know about your intention to claim the offer when ordering and remind them again when ready to pay. Order a main meal or brunch at Bill's this results day and you'll be able to nab a free dessert too. Simply book a table, order a main meal and show your results to your server to claim. The Italian chain are offering one free starter or dessert, plus a Coke Zero when you order a main meal. For one day only, A-level and GCSE students can order a free margherita pizza when they buy any soft drink at participating Frankie & Benny's locations. The offer runs all day on Thursday, August 14, for A-level students and all day on Thursday, August 21, for GCSE students. To claim their free pizza, which normally costs £11.75, students need to show proof of their 2025 exam results when dining in. The Free Pizza promotion is available at selected restaurants only. This offer is valid at most restaurants but does exclude airport locations, as well as Covent Garden and London Paddington. Drinks are redeemable between the hours of 11am and 5pm. It is one drink per person and you get to choose from a selection of over 20 "magical" matcha flavours. There will be free drink available at all Bird & Blend stores, including the store at the Royal Arcade in Cardiff. Wagamama Customers at Wagamama can get 25% off discount on their bill on A Level results day (Image: McArthur Glen) Wagamama will be increasing their discount from 20% to 25% for a whole week for students. This means that for A-Level results, the discount will apply from Thursday, August 14 until Wednesday, August 20. And for GCSE results, the discount will apply from Thursday, August 21 until Wednesday, August 27. Those who want to make the most of the discount will need to download and join the loyalty app soul club, show it and your results to the Wagamama staff. The offer excludes airports and is only valid for dine-in only. Bella Italia At Bella Italia, students can enjoy a free starter and dessert to celebrate GCSE and A Level results days. All you'll need to do is show proof of receiving results to a server when you arrive. While the offer is available on Thursday, August 14 (A Level results day) and Thursday, August 21 (GCSE results day), the offer applies for the whole table, not just you. Banana Tree Students can celebrate their A-Level results on Thursday, August 14, with a free chicken or tofu pad Thai when they sign up to claim a voucher, which you can do here. Alternatively, for GCSE results day on Thursday, August 21, students can claim a free chicken or vegan Katsu Curry when they sign up to claim a voucher, which you can do here. With a pad Thai usually costing £15 and a katsu curry costing around £16, this seems like a pretty good bargain. Each offer is only valid on respective results day, and you'll need to present the voucher alongside proof of your results to a member of staff when ordering. This deal is not valid on delivery. All you'll need to do is show your exam results and say "grads eat free". Students can claim this freebie on Sundays to Thursdays throughout the month of August, with the last day of claiming the offer on Thursday, August 28. As your free meal, you can get any main course from the following parts of the menu - Bangin' Burgers, Signature Stacks or Fridays Favourites, which would usually cost you £16 to £20. This deal can only be used once during the offer period, and is not available for click and collect, delivery or takeaway orders. Bill's Bill's has confirmed that they are offer a free dessert for students who dine at their restaurant on Thursday, August 14 (A Level results day) and Thursday, August 21 (GCSE results day). All you'll need to do is book a table, order a meal and show your results to your server to claim the offer. Côte Brasserie This chain is offering a free steak frites or vegan burger to anyone with a French A-Level or GCSE results on Thursday, August 14, or Thursday, August 21. If you didn't study French, then no problem, as students with any other A-Level or GCSE results can claim a free dessert offer. All you'll need to do is show your results and claim your reward, but you'll need to book in on the Thursday, August 14, or Thursday, August 31, to claim. The free Steak Frites or Vegan Burger can be claimed when purchasing one full price adult prix fixe or à la carte main dish. A similar rule applies for the free dessert and can only be claimed when purchasing one full price à la carte main dish. Las Iguanas Las Iguanas Restaurant in Cardiff Bay (Image: South Wales Echo) Las Iguanas is celebrating GCSE and A-Level students with free churros for anyone showing their results. From Thursday, August 14 until Thursday, August 21, 2025, students can order a free single portion of churros when they show their GCSE or A-Level results. A Las Iguanas spokesperson said: 'We know Results Day can be full of nerves and excitement and we're here to make it memorable for all the right reasons. Whether you're celebrating top grades or just giving yourself a pat on the back, free churros are our way of saying, you did it!" The offer is not valid at Centre Parcs locations and may be unavailable on event days at O2, Wembley, Resorts World, Cardiff Mill Lane & Brindley Place. Pizza Express Between Monday, August 4, and Sunday, August 17, students can celebrate A-Level results day with a free dessert with your main at Pizza Express. To claim the free dessert, you will have to ensure that you purchase a main and show the team a valid UNiDays results day offer code.
