Eagles teammates get phenomenal one-word reviews from Nolan Smith

Nolan Smith was asked to describe Eagles teammates with one word, and he passed the test with flying colors. Reloaded... It's only one word, but it says a lot. Recently, it was used in conjunction with the Philadelphia Eagles. FOX Sports' Ben Arthur used it during some recent analysis. He offered a unique take, describing each NFL team's offseason using a singular word. 'Reloaded' certainly works. It's a nice shift from an overworked theme hovering over the current offseason. Fans, pundits, and the media have gone on and on about Philadelphia's offseason losses. They assume the defense will take a step backward. That may not be the case. How do we know, based on recent acquisitions, that this team won't be just as good or better? If the leaders step up, this team can soar. Philadelphia has lost veteran leadership like Fletcher Cox, Jason Kelce, and Brandon Graham over the past two offseasons. Still, if what we have seen from some of the young guys like Nolan Smith is any indication, the Eagles' future is in some safe and secure hands. Nolan Smith joins Good Morning Football's breakfast table Nolan Smith was a guest on NFL Network's highly popular Good Morning Football show. It's becoming more and more apparent that he has all of the traits worthy of a captain's patch. He's well-spoken. He's a student of the game. He's one of Vic Fangio's prized pupils. He is likeable, and that goes without saying. While on GMFB, he was asked to play 'Bird is the Word'. He was asked to describe a few of his teammates. Like Arthur at FOX Sports, he was only allowed one word to say. Cooper DeJean is 'electrifying'. He was 'flabbergasted' by Saquon Barkley's reverse hurdle. Jalen Hurts is described as 'the one'. Here's a look if you missed this one live. Yep! It's safe to say he passed this one with flying colors. Nolan Smith has the 'it factor'. Ben Arthur is right. Philadelphia has certainly reloaded. It's about more than Howie Roseman finding an edge rusher to replace another. He has found another crop of leaders. Yes... Cox, Kelce, and Brandon Graham are gone, but their voices have been replaced by Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, Lane Johnson, and Smith. The best part is this. There are other players on this team with the same quality, that same penchant for leadership. Keep an eye on Jordan Davis, Jordan Mailata, and Jalyx Hunt moving forward. Here's a promise. You can rest easy. Your Birds are going to be fine.
