Ten of the favourite specialist food takeways in York shortlisted for award
The countdown to the announcement of the favourite chippy in York for 2025 as nominated by readers of The York Press is nearly over.
Every day that newspapers have been on sale from June 2, we have featured stories and profiles of the chippies shortlisted by readers of The York Press from a survey we carried out last month.
Readers of the newspaper still have the chance to select their overall favourite by posting off a voting slip that features on a page every day until today (June 14).
