I was going to write about Violette FR's most recent launch, which is a really stupendous, unsticky clear lip balm/treatment called Balm Amour (£27) — six years in the making, apparently — that's full of peptides and phyto-collagen. And it's great. If you're a lip balm fan, I can't think of a better one. You'll just have to take my word for it, though, because on the way to this lip balm I got distracted by the blush the brand does called Bisou Blush (£37, I feel like I've written more about blushes in the past three months than I have in the past three years, but that's the way these things work: I rarely meet any I like and then suddenly a whole load come along at once.
