Tribute to Joe Longthorne to be performed in Blantyre
Performer Jimmy James is set to carry out his first show in Scotland at Blantyre Miners Welfare Club on June 21.
He will provide audiences with a tribute to the legendary performer to honour his incredible legacy.
Longthorne was a singer and impressionist from Hull whose career spanned five decades.

His big break came in the ITV series Search For A Star in 1981, and he has appeared in TV programmes like Les Dennis Laughter Show and the Royal Variety Performance.
Jimmy said: "This special evening is a tribute to the legendary Joe Longthorne, a performer who is deeply loved by many across Scotland.
"I'm honoured to celebrate his memory with a heartfelt performance, and I can't wait to connect with Scottish audiences who share a deep appreciation for Joe's incredible legacy.
"This particular night, however, marks a milestone as my first time performing in Scotland, and I want it to be unforgettable."
