Love Island fans ‘figure out' which girl will be dumped from the villa in shock axe
LOVE Island fans are concerned that Alima will be dumped from the villa tonight. Last night Maya Jama revealed that Shakira Khan had to steal a man in order to stay on the show - after bombshell Toni, 24, stole her man Ben, 23. 5 5 5 And it's not looking good for Alima Gagigo after her partner Blu made it quite clear he didn't fancy her. In a very early conversation he told her she wasn't his type - leaving those watching at home fuming. And when it was announced that Shakira had to get her graft on, speculation started that Alima would be booted out. One person commented: 'Blu is gonna be jumping at that opportunity with shakira. FML bro.' A second said: 'I've got a bad feeling blue's clues and shakira are gonna get close, she picks him, and alima goes home. idk, man.' While a third added: 'blu is gonna lay it on thick with Shakira which means Alima is gonna be dumped. Oh love island I see you.' The show's six couples with Shakira single are now Toni - the first ever bombshell arrival from the United States - and Ben, Meg and Dejon, Sophie and Harry, Helena and Conor, Alima and Blu, and Megan and Tommy. The action kicks off tonight when Shakira pulls Dejon - who is coupled up with Meg - for a chat first. Meg then tells the girls: 'I don't have my man, Dejon's gone - that's it!' Meanwhile, Shakira tells Dejon: 'That was a lot, it was intense, I was trying not to shake like a leaf.' Toni can then be seen giving Shakira a bit of a pep talk before her day of grafting, as the model confesses she is in interested in "Everyone!" Shakira then wastes no time and asks Harry for a chat on the terrace and things quickly turn flirty. 5 5 Shakira teases: 'Haza you little minx!' Harry then replies: 'It's day two come on let's keep it PG.' Putting the effort in to find a new connection, Shakira then pulls Conor for a chat and he tells her: 'You surprised me, you came in with massive energy, but I feel like you're not like that, you're chill and smart.' Shakira admits: 'I love the Irish accent, it's sexy! I've never dated an Irish guy.' She also catches up with Blu telling him 'I think it's good cause it gives everyone a kick up the bum…I think you've got a good vibe…you're very calming and I don't have to put on a bravado.' Shakira's effort doesn't stop there as she also pulls Tommy by the pool telling him: 'I think it's best I try to get to know everyone.' Fans will find out tonight who Shakira picks - as Maya returns to the villa.

Love Island kicked off last night, marking the start of summer as fans tuned in across the country, Maya Jama once again left the villa speechless with a shell-shocking announcement. The host dropped a major bombshell when she returned to the villa for a second time during the launch episode. Maya gathered the islanders in their newly formed couples around the fire-pit as she revealed the day was far from over and someone new was already on their way. Las Vegas pool host Toni entered the villa as the first bombshell of the season and the first contestant from the United States, attracting gasps and confused looks from the rest of the islanders. The couples were left stunned when Toni stated: "Good Evening UK! Surprise!" Maya quickly shared the news that Toni would be stealing one of the boys, and she eventually stole Ben from Shakira - leaving her single and at risk of being dumped from the Island. However, fans aren't worried about Shakira being vulnerable, as they fear Scottish contestant Alima will be more at risk of being dumped before she can get started. The 23-year-old Glasgow native is currently paired with construction manager Blu, but the pair failed to hit it off. Alima chose to couple up with Blu after being drawn to his dating profile - another unusual twist by production. Later in the show, Blu brutally told her: "You're not my type on paper." Alima also expressed her disinterest as she said "I'm not feeling him" after his brutal comment. This led fans of the show to believe Alima's time on the Island might be up, as Blu will get to know Shakira leaving the Scottish beauty with no-one to couple up with. Fans took to social media to express their concerns, as they have already taken a strong liking to Alima from her carefree attitude and fiery stand out Scottish accent. One viewer wrote on X, formally known as Twitter: "Alima might be in danger, there's actually no one in here for her.. The system has failed her." Another wrote: "Sneaky feeling Alima might be the girl that's been dumped." ITV Love Island fans fiercely defend Scots star Alima Gagigo after brutal coupling up comment
Love Island fans were all saying the same thing just minutes into the first episode of Love Island tonight after Scots beauty Alima Gagigo received a harsh remark from the boy she had just chosen to couple up with. Love Island kicked off its twelfth season tonight with thirteen new contestants entering the iconic villa in the hopes of finding love under the Spanish sun. Seven gorgeous girls and six handsome hunks made their debut on the ITV dating show on Monday evening as they were welcomed by host Maya Jama. Among them is Glaswegian beauty Alima Gagigo who is the only Scot on Love Island this year so far. The 23-year-old graduate, chose to blindly couple up with construction project manager Blu Chegin after being drawn to his dating profile, but it seems there is already trouble in paradise for the pair. After Maya revealed that he had been chosen by Alima, Blu made a controversial comment as he said: "Every girl looks beautiful." Maya replied to his eyebrow raising remark as she repeated: "Yes but Alima chose you." Fans at home were quick to spot the awkward moment as they took to X to fume over Blue's careless remark. Alima, having already caught viewers attention thanks to her fiery stand out Scottish accent, has already garnered support from viewers after Blu brutally told her: "You're not my type on paper." Viewers at home were left furious by his comment as one wrote: "Alima is 100% out of Blu's league. His attitude is gross. #loveisland". After Alima told Blu she's not "feeling him", another fan chimed in: "LOVE that Alima called Blu's disrespectful a** out. #loveisland." A third agreed: "Alima clocking Blu's nonsense already. Fans were left cringing by the awkward scene and branded the 23-year-old as a 'liar' as one wrote: "I don't think Alima speaks Spanish #LoveIsland." Another remarked: "Alima a damn liar about I speak Spanish #LoveIsland." A third joked: "Alima is me when I lie on my CV. Don't ask me questions", alongside two laughing emojis. However, Alima could now find herself in trouble for tomorrow night's episode after bombshell American Islander Toni walked in to the villa and decided to couple up with Ben, who was originally coupled up with Shakira, leaving Shakira single. Maya announced at the end of Monday's night episode that Shakira would need to spend the next 24 hours getting her graft on and getting to know the other boys to keep her place in the villa. In scenes that are likely to air on ITV on Tuesday evening, Shakira will select the boy she wants to steal from another girl. However, there is a catch. The chosen male Islander must agree to the swap. If Shakira choses a boy and they don't agree to the coupling up, they will remain with their current partner and Shakira will be dumped from the villa. If Shakira is successful and the swap goes through, the partner of the boy she chooses will pack their bags instead. As Alima and Blu have already hit a rough patch, could Shakira use this as an opportunity to seek out Blu and send Alima packing? Viewers will need to wait until tomorrow night to find out what happens. Love Island airs on Tuesday June 10 on ITV at 9pm.
