Ashley Tisdale Says Daughter Jupiter Is Yet Watch Phineas And Ferb, Here's Why
Last Updated: The actress further stated that her daughter knows that her mom is on the show, but she has not seen a full episode yet. Singer and actress Ashley Tisdale is best known for her role in High School Musical and as the voice behind Candace Flynn in the popular animated series Phineas and Ferb. Recently, the actress revealed that though she is a part of the Disney channel show as a voice artist, her four-year-old daughter Jupiter has never watched a single episode of Phineas and Ferb. And there's a good reason behind it. At the Bush's Bluey Baked Beans launch event at CAMP in New York City on Wednesday, May 14, the 39-year-old actress spoke with People and revealed that Jupiter is aware of the characters Phineas and Ferb. 'I haven't (watched the show with Jupiter). I mean, she's seen (the characters) Phineas and Ferb." Explaining the reason, Ashley added, 'It might be a little bit more for the older age range." The actress further stated that her daughter knows that her mom is on the show, but she has not seen a full episode yet. 'She knows that I'm on it, and she has seen that, but I haven't shown her the new episodes," Ashley said. While she might not have gotten a chance to watch the show yet, Jupiter did get a peek behind the scenes when Ashley took her to a recording studio last year. FYI, a decade after Phineas and Ferb concluded in 2015, the beloved animated series is making a return. At New York's Comic Con in October last year, the show's makers announced its return to the screens once more. Phineas and Ferb's fifth season is set to premiere on June 5, with new episodes airing on both Disney Channel and Disney XD and streaming on Disney+ the next day. In the same conversation, Ashley expressed her excitement about the new episodes of Phineas and Ferb, especially because her character Candace is now 16. 'The new episodes are amazing, and I'm so excited because my character finally has aged a little bit. She's 16, and so I really can't wait for everybody to see it. It's one of those things where (creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff 'Swampy' Marsh) did not go far from the DNA of it, which is so great." Speaking of Ashley Tisdale, she and her husband, singer Christopher French welcomed their daughter Jupiter in March 2021 after seven years of marriage. Last year, in September, the couple welcomed their second daughter, whom they lovingly named Emerson. First Published:

Ashley Tisdale is opening up about why her 4-year-old daughter hasn't watched Phineas and Ferb yet PEOPLE caught up with the actress, singer and Being Frenshe founder at the Bush's Bluey Baked Beans launch event at CAMP in New York City on May 14 Of the upcoming Phineas and Ferb reboot, Tisdale says, "The new episodes are amazing, and I'm so excited because my character finally has aged a little bit"Ashley Tisdale's daughter hasn't gotten to know Candace Flynn yet. Ahead of the upcoming Phineas and Ferb reboot, the actress, singer and Being Frenshe founder is opening up about why her 4-year-old daughter Jupiter hasn't seen the beloved Disney Channel animated series — on which Tisdale plays Candace, the titular characters' disapproving older sister. "I haven't [watched the show with Jupiter]. I mean, she's seen [the characters] Phineas and Ferb," Tisdale, 39, tells PEOPLE at the Bush's Bluey Baked Beans launch event at CAMP in New York City on May 14. "It might be a little bit more for older age range," she adds of Phineas and Ferb. "She knows that I'm on it, and she has seen that, but I haven't shown her the new episodes." While Jupiter hasn't sat down for an official Phineas and Ferb viewing, she's had a behind-the-scenes look at the show, as Tisdale brought her to a recording session last year and documented the experience on Instagram. About 10 years after the series originally concluded in June 2015, Phineas and Ferb is coming back for its fifth season on June 5 and will air on both Disney Channel and Disney XD plus stream on Disney+ the next day. "The new episodes are amazing, and I'm so excited because my character finally has aged a little bit," explains Tisdale. "She's 16, and so I really can't wait for everybody to see it. It's one of those things where [creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff 'Swampy' Marsh] did not go far from the DNA of it, which is so great." The "He Said She Said" performer attended the Bush's Bluey Baked Beans event, where fans got to meet Bluey, the Australian cartoon dog from the animated series of the same name, and walk through a full-size replica of her home. is now available in the Apple App Store! Download it now for the most binge-worthy celeb content, exclusive video clips, astrology updates and more! Tisdale and husband Christopher French, who share Jupiter and daughter Emerson, are frequent Bluey viewers. "We really sometimes push it on them. We're like, 'We should watch Bluey today," she says. "Emerson is only 8 months [old], so she has yet to [watch Bluey]. She sees a little bit of it, but for sure Jupiter is a fan, and 100% me and my husband are fans." One of her favorite parts of the show is that each episode has a "deep meaning." She adds, "The parents are so great at exploring imagination and creativity with Bluey and Bingo, and it's just a feel-good show... I love it." Through the collaboration, fans can find special Bush's Baked Beans cans featuring the characters of Bluey — which Tisdale anticipates will excite Jupiter. "It's really hard when you have a picky eater," she details. "When they like something, you tend to stick with it, and so she's always been a humongous beans fan, and if Bluey's on it, she has to have it, so it's helpful." Read the original article on People
