Boardmasters Festival 2025: ultimate guide to line-up, stage times, full timetable and programme, tickets and dates

Not many music festivals come with their own surfing competition, but that's what makes Boardmasters so special. Set against the gorgeous beaches of Newquay, Cornwall's biggest festival is back for yet another year of beachy vibes and great music. This year you can catch the likes of Raye, the Rizzle Kicks, Central Cee, Nelly Furtado and many, many more on the Cornish shores, and it's set to be a pretty lovely weekend weather-wise too. No 30C heatwaves or tropical thunderstorms are predicted, just regular old sun. If you're about to embark on your journey into England's southernmost county, here's everything you need to know ahead of your visit to Boardmasters festival this year. It's split across two different sites: Watergate Bay, which is home to the music and campsites and is the 'most beautiful festival site in the UK' according to the organisers, and Fistral Beach where the surf competition is held. Who are the headliners for Boardmasters 2025? This year Boardmasters has a pretty good mix of headliners. On Friday it's Raye, with the Kaiser Chiefs as the 'afternoon special guests'; on Saturday you can catch Central Cee on the main stage and the Rizzle Kicks in the afternoon; and on Sunday the the Prodigy will close out the festival following a special performance from Natasha Beddingfield. Certain tickets are still available, but weekend camping tickets are sold out. However, there are still weekend and day passes that you can purchase, but you'll have to find somewhere else to stay. Alternatively, book a day entry + return coach package which will take you home after the music's done. You can get those here. If your heart is still set on camping, and you're willing to pay a hefty price for it, there are still VIP camping passes up for grabs, which you can buy here. How to get to Boardmasters Festival Cornwall is not the easiest place to get to from pretty much anywhere else in the country, but you have a few different transport options. Train The nearest train station is Newquay, and there will be a shuttle service between the station and the festival ground available for £10. You will likely need to transfer trains at some point on your journey, so be aware of that. Shuttle bus The shuttle bus service is only £10, and gets you an unlimited pass for the weekend so you can make as many journeys to and from the campsite as you like. It runs between the Fistral and Watergate sites via Newquay train station and runs all day, and into the early hours of the morning. Coach If you've booked a coach with Big Green Coach, the festival's partner, you'll get dropped off right at the grounds. There are still a few coach tickets available from certain cities across the UK – you can have a look and get your last minute tickets here. Plane If you're flying in to Newquay, the easiest way to get to the venue is by taxi. It's a very short journey, and will take you right to the campsite entrance. Car and parking There is onsite parking available for anyone driving down. It's sold out now, but if you did manage to book parking, follow the green route as you get near Newquay. It will guide you to where you need to go. Are there any banned items? To ensure the festival goes ahead smoothly, there's a few things you're not allowed to bring with you. Here's a complete list of the banned items for Boardmasters: Animals (expect assistance dogs) Aerosols (excluding suncream and deodorant. Liquid suncream and roll-on deodorant are permitted) Bladed items, including multi tools Candles or sky lanterns Anything that could be reasonably considered for use as a weapon Campfires Drones or remote controlled flying devices Fireworks, flares, smoke bombs or smoke machines Food into the main arena (sealed food can be brought into the campsite). Thursday August 7 will be pretty cloudy, with some light showers earlier in the day which dry up by around 5pm. Friday August 8 is set to be nice and dry, with sunny spells and highs of 20C.
