BCY chief alleges Rs 350 crore kickback in TDP's support to Shirdi Sai Electricals' Nellore solar project
TIRUPATI: Bharatha Chaitanya Yuvajana (BCY) Founder President Bode Ramachandra Yadav accused the TDP govt of pledging support to the Kadapa-based Shirdi Sai Electricals-backed Indo Solar project for kickbacks involving hundreds of crores of rupees. Ramachandra Yadav levelled serious allegations against the ruling disposition during his visit to Karivedu village in Nellore district. The BCY chief recalled that when the TDP was in the opposition, TDP National President Nara Chandrababu Naidu and several other prominent leaders, including Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, labelled Shirdi Sai Electricals as a benami company of the then chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy. They alleged that the erstwhile YSRCP govt resorted to widespread corruption by pledging support to the Shirdi Sai Electricals group. 'The TDP leaders also vowed to expose this unholy nexus coupled with corruption and initiate legal proceedings against Shirdi Sai Electricals once the TDP comes to power in the state. However, the TDP received Rs 40 crore in the form of electoral bonds in January last year. After they came to power in the state in June 2024, instead of initiating legal proceedings, the TDP govt also pledged support to the Shirdi Sai Electrical group and allegedly earned Rs.350 cr in the form of kickbacks to alienate approximately 8,300 acres of land in Nellore district,' Bode Ramachandra Yadav alleged. The BCY chief slammed the govt for pushing the farmers into dire straits by handing over lush green farmlands to companies in the name of projects. He alleged that in Karivedu village, Ulavapadu mandal, Kandukur constituency, Nellore district, the Indo Solar project is forcibly and tyrannically taking 8,300 acres of land from farmers with the support of the TDP govt. He assured the farmers and villagers that the BCY party would fight for them and demanded the TDP govt initiate measures for returning all the forcibly acquired lands from the farmers within 10 days. Failing this, the BCY plans to take up massive protests in support of the farmers.

BCY chief demands AP govt to postpone mega DSC teacher recruitment examinations by 90 days, seeks for rationalisation of systems
TIRUPATI: Bharatha Chaitanya Yuvajana (BCY) founder president Bode Ramachandra Yadav has demanded the Andhra Pradesh govt postpone the mega DSC teacher recruitment examinations 2025 by three months. He urged the govt to rationalise the revised and complicated systems in place. Addressing a press conference on Thursday, he criticised the TDP govt in Andhra Pradesh for playing with the lives of more than five and a half lakh DSC aspirants with their deceitful DSC exam methodology. The BCY chief lamented the state govt for proceeding with the Mega DSC without a proper process, policy, or clarity, leading to injustice for the candidates. Bode Ramachandra Yadav pointed out that the candidates wasted ten days in the application process, collecting various certificates. Under such pressure, they cannot write the exam properly, so it should be postponed by 90 days. He demanded the govt abolish the normalisation method and conduct the exam with a single, uniform question paper for each district at the same time. 'There was no DSC for the past seven years, meaning lakhs of candidates crossed the age limit and became ineligible. Why should candidates suffer due to the government's mistakes?' Bode Ramachandra Yadav questioned. 'Considering the future of lakhs of students in the state, the government should postpone the mega DSC by three months and review the stringent regulations. If they don't and the unemployed aspirants have to suffer the injustice, the BCY party will stage protests at the chief minister's residence to fight on behalf of the DSC aspirants,' Bode Ramachandra Yadav warned.

Bharata Chaitanya Yuvajana (BCY) chief Bode Ramachandra Yadav has addressed a letter to Chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, expressing concerns about nearly 8-9 lakh aspirants from the backward communities, missing out the opportunity to get recruited because of the marks based qualification linked new guidelines laid down by the govt. The BCY chief also pointed out to the lapses in the conduct of the Group-2 exams and interviews and questioned the state govt about how it could completely turn a blind eye to the flaws. 'More than 20 lakh unemployed youngsters who were wooed by the promise of the TDP-NDA alliance had a firm faith that this govt will bring their decades long wait for employment to an end. While it was heartening that Chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu first signed the mega DSC file after coming to power and has released a notification for filling up 16347 posts, the govt has dashed the hopes of the youth by bringing in certain objectionable guidelines, which it should once again revise in line with the aspirations of the unemployed from the backward classes in particular', BCY chief urged the govt. Meanwhile, Tirupati MP M Gurumoorthy also criticised the govt for casting a severe blow on the unemployed youngsters from the backward classes by revising the recruitment guidelines. 'If the state govt was truly committed to the upliftment of the weaker sections of the society, it wouldn't have imposed such harsh guidelines for recruitment', Tirupati MP lamented.
