Boeheim's Army stunned in second round of TBT by We Are D3
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR) — Ty Nichols scored 36 points including the game-winning bucket to give We Are D3 an 81-78 upset win over Boeheim's Army. Boeheim's Army got off to a fast start and led by 10 in the first quarter. We Are D3, though, battled back to cut it to six by halftime and it was close the rest of the way. Jacob Gilyard led the way for Boeheim's Army with 19 points. Buddy Boeheim chipped in with 17, including 14 points after halftime. Buddy tied the game at 78 as Boeheim's Army rallied from down seven points in the Elam Ending. Boeheim's Army just couldn't get one more defensive stop, though. With the loss, Boeheim's Army drops to 7-3 in Syracuse all-time in the TBT.
