Everything Texas A&M transfers, OC Collin Klein said following Tuesday's practice
The bright sun beaming down on the field and glaring from the maroon helmets signified another practice session for the Texas A&M football program on Tuesday, as kickoff against UTSA at Kyle Field remains 18 days away.
Heading into his second year as the head coach of the Aggies, Mike Elko and his coaching staff are getting the roster prepared for another season of competitive battles against some of the top-ranked programs in the country. While players and coaches typically try to stay away from the preseason hype, USA Today's US LBM Coaches Poll featured five teams that rank in the top 25, three of which are listed in the top 10 (No. 1 Texas, No. 5 Notre Dame and No. 9 LSU).
To face a schedule like that this season means even more intense preparations in the brutal Texas heat. This time around, offensive coordinator Collin Klein, defensive tackle Tyler Onyedim and tight end Nate Boerkircher spoke to the media following Tuesday's practice session.
