On today's The Bold and the Beautiful recap: Italy: Nick and Brooke are enjoying some refreshments as they await their meal. Ridge goes off as he and Eric discuss Nick's desire to propose to Brooke. Eric says he tried to warn Brooke about what a shark Nick is. Ridge refuses to let Nick ruin Brooke's life and quickly heads out the door. Spencer Mansion: Hope fusses over Liam who is tickled by her efforts. She realizes she's overdoing it as he just had surgery. He worries about the amount of time she is spending with him. They both discuss his miracle cure and that they owe all their thanks to Grace. Liam can't believe he has a second chance at his life but there's this other Buckingham who was responsible for taking their daughter. Hospital – Grace's Office: Finn goes at Grace about charging Bill one million dollars for Liam's miracle cure. He demands an explanation for the grossly overcharged procedure. Grace says it was a highly experimental procedure and none of it was cheap. Finn admits it was expensive but wonders if all that cost was necessary. She also shot Finn and let everybody think he was dead while she nursed him back to health. Recently, though, Sheila played a role in trying to keep Luna (Lisa Yamada) from her murderous obsession, and she even provided a distraction that allowed Liam (Scott Clifton) to grab Luna's gun. For a while, all the doctors thought Liam had an inoperable brain tumor. However, after Luna shot him and he survived surgery, Grace (Cassandra Creech) told Bill (Don Diamont) that she had a treatment that could work. The only catch was that they had to keep the whole thing a secret from the hospital. Bill agreed and paid her $1 million, and Liam survived and was cured. Not everyone felt Grace's cure was on the up and up, though. Finally, Eric (John McCook) let everyone know that the Italy trip was still on, now that everybody was out of danger from Luna. Nick (Jack Wagner) seemed excited to go. Of course, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang—find out what's next for her) will be there. Taylor (Rebecca Budig) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) got engaged, but Nick's return has irritated him. Eric pushing Ridge to be with Brooke, and Brooke still insisting that Ridge is her destiny, hasn't helped Taylor and Ridge's relationship. Nick hasn't wasted any time trying to make a move on Brooke, though. He gave her a wonderful, romantic gesture, and it's clear he wants her to move on from Ridge. What Happened Today on Bold and the Beautiful July 24: Finn Showed Sheila Some Love
The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, July 24 saw Finn visiting Sheila, Liam counting his blessings, and Nick plotting a new path to reclaiming Brooke's heart. What You Missed Today On Bold and the Beautiful Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) got a surprise when her son turned up at Il Giardino to check in on her. Finn (Tanner Novlan) was grateful to his mother for stepping up for his wife. Sheila played right into that and acting like anyone would have done the same. Finn and Deacon (Sean Kanan) hailed her a hero, nevertheless. Sure, a few years ago she shot Steffy and left her for dead, but that was then and just look at her now. Sheer progress. Of course, Luna (Lisa Yamada) was brought up as were all her troubles. As much as Sheila was relieved everyone was okay, she couldn't shake her grief over Luna's death and she was sure Finn had conflicting feelings, too. Yes, Luna was a monster, but she was also his daughter and her granddaughter. She just wished Luna had changed – like she did. Speaking of visitors, Liam's (Scott Clifton) room was busy. He got in some great time with Kelly (Sophia Paras McKinlay), Steffy, and of course, Dollar Bill. Once Kelly went to the kitchen to get cookies, the trio discussed how everything went down and their absolute shock that Sheila was ready to sacrifice herself to save Steffy. Who saw that coming? Not them. Not them, indeed. Steffy had to admit it softened her a bit towards the She-Devil. If only Sheila would stay on this up-and-up trajectory. WATCH THIS: SoapHub Says! Katie was quite impressed with her sister's power move and putting her foot down with Ridge. In fact, she was curious to see how this would all play out. Would getting close to Nick get under Ridge's skin enough to bring him back to his Logan life? Once Katie left, Brooke replayed all her and Ridge's greatest magical moments in Italy and she was sure they could pull that off again. Speaking of Ridge, he was across the hall griping to Eric (John McCook) about Nick messing with his life, the company's orders, and mostly Brooke. How dare! Eric pointedly pointed out that this wasn't just about Nick playing powerhouse with the silks, it was about him getting close to the actual love of Ridge's life. He once again urged Ridge to drop the charade and reclaim his destiny. His true destiny with Brooke. How much more pushing does he need to do the right thing and get back with the right woman? For Eric, the choice is clear, Ridge belongs with Brooke. Period. End of story. And, he's close to losing her for good, which is the last thing Eric wants for his son and ex-wife. As for Nick, he turned up at the Forrester mansion to commiserate with Taylor (Rebecca Budig). He suggested Taylor join him in Italy. Well, not exactly him, but travel with him to surprise Ridge and keep her man out of Brooke's clutches.
