adidasis set to debut a new sneaker silhouette: theadiZero Goukana. Blending the brand's rich performance heritage with the vibrant energy of contemporary street culture, this new silhouette draws inspiration from the 2008 Adios Neftenga prototype — a model that was brought back through a collaboration withWales Bonnerlast fall. The Goukana pays homage to its Japanese roots – its name meaning 'luxurious and plush' – and to Toshiaki Omori, the visionary behind the original adiZero series.
Though designed for lifestyle rather than competition, the Goukana packs genuine performance tech. Its Lightstrike cushioning, borrowed from adidas's marathon-and basketball-winning models, delivers feather-light responsiveness and all-day comfort.
