BLACKPINK's Rosé says Jennie, Lisa and Jisoo are returning to each other with 'good energy' for DEADLINE World Tour

BLACKPINK's Rosé is living a moment that many artists dream of balancing a powerful solo career while reuniting with her group at the peak of their global influence. In a recent interview with Dazed, she opened up about what it means to return to BLACKPINK after time spent pursuing individual growth. 'Each of us has gone out and been inspired and learned so much about ourselves,' BLACKPINK 's Rosé shared. 'And now we're coming back to each other with good energy.' That quote captures more than just a reunion, it's a statement of transformation. Over the past year, all four members of BLACKPINK — Rosé, Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa- have explored personal projects, creative ventures, and new musical directions. From solo music releases and fashion brand partnerships to high-profile collaborations with global artists, each member has expanded their identity beyond the group. But now, the focus returns to BLACKPINK — not as they were, but as they are today: more experienced, more confident, and more connected than ever. BLACKPINK'S Reunion - DEADLINE WORLD TOUR 2025 BLACKPINK is set to make history once again with their Deadline World Tour, the group's fourth concert tour and third to span the globe. This time, they're going bigger than ever, embarking on their first all-stadium tour, delivering massive-scale performances in some of the world's most iconic venues. The Deadline world tour will launch on July 5, 2025, in Goyang, South Korea, and run through 31 shows before coming to a close on January 25, 2026, in Hong Kong at Kai Tak Stadium. BLACKPINK's 'Deadline' Sparks Buzz Across the Fandom The announcement of BLACKPINK's 2025 world tour, titled Deadline, has stirred intense speculation among the fandom. Unlike their previous tours — In Your Area (2018), which marked their global breakout, and Born Pink (2022), which highlighted their artistic maturity — Deadline feels darker, edgier, and more ambiguous. BLINKs have interpreted the name as a symbol of change, possibly signalling a shift in the group's musical direction or dynamic. The sudden and low-key nature of the announcement only added to the mystery, prompting theories and debates online. Whatever it means, Deadline has everyone watching closely for what's next. For BLACKPINK's Rosé, whose soulful voice and grounded personality have long made her a fan favourite, this moment holds special significance. It's a return to her roots, but also a step forward — a chance to merge everything she's learned on her own with the strength of BLACKPINK's unity. With 'good energy' leading the way, the next chapter of BLACKPINK promises to be their most powerful yet.

BLACKPINK to make full-group comeback this year

Girl group BLACKPINK will return with a new song featuring all four members later this year, the head producer of the group's agency said Monday. "We'll soon be able to announce news about BLACKPINK's new song," Yang Hyun-suk, founder and executive producer of YG Entertainment, said in a video posted on the company's official blog. Yang did not provide a specific release date. The upcoming single will mark the group's first release in two years and eight months, following its second full-length album, "Born Pink," in September 2022. The only exception since then has been "The Girls," an original soundtrack for a video game. BLACKPINK is set to launch a new world tour, titled "Deadline," with shows in Goyang, just northwest of Seoul, on July 5 and 6. Yang also shared release plans for other YG artists. Rookie girl group Babymonster will drop a prerelease single, "Hot Sauce," on July 1, followed by a second single in September and an EP on Oct. 1. Describing "Hot Sauce" as a "highly addictive hip-hop song with a late 1980s feel," Yang said, "It's a gift we're releasing in hopes that you'll have a fun summer." He added that the company experimented with how Babymonster, whose average age is in the teens, would interpret a classic hip-hop genre from four decades ago and was pleased with the result. Boy group TREASURE will release a new EP on Sept. 1 and begin a new world tour in October. Yang said the company aims to support the group in releasing more than two albums annually. YG Entertainment also plans to introduce a new four-member girl group and a new boy group next year. Starting Wednesday, practice videos of the girl group members will be released one by one. "Currently, YG has two boy groups and two girl groups preparing for their debuts," Yang said. "I definitely want to launch one boy group next year." However, the company noted that the debut of the new girl group is expected to come later, as Yang expressed a desire to focus on Babymonster's growth through the end of next year. (Yonhap)

BLACKPINK's Deadline World Tour announces dates for 16-city tour set to conclude in Hong Kong

If BLACKPINK's Born Pink world tour and its mammoth success was anything to go by, the Deadline tour from the foremost K-pop all-girl band, currently loading, is only set to up the stakes. Last week, the official handles of YG Entertainment announced Deadline, BLACKPINK's official world tour in the works. Earlier today, a 16-city spread of dates was released with the tour set to commence in South Korea's Goyang on July 5 and conclude in Hong Kong on January 25. Take a look at the dates. - Goyang, South Korea (July 5-6) - Los Angeles, USA (July 12-13) - Chicago, USA (July 18) - Toronto, Canada (July 22-23) - New York, USA (July 26-27) - Paris, France (August 2-3) - Milan, Italy (August 6) - Barcelona, Spain (August 9) - London, UK (August 15-16) - Kaohsiung, Taiwan (August 18-19) - Bangkok, Thailand (October 24–26) - Jakarta, Indonesia (November 1–2) - Bulacan, Philippines (November 22–23) - Singapore (November 29–30) - Tokyo, Japan (January 16-18, 2026) - Hong Kong (January 24–25, 2026) A post shared by YG Entertainment Official (@yg_ent_official) Now while the tour has been announced, and tickets undoubtedly are set to fly off the portals, the OG BLACKPINK fans have a bone to pick with YG Entertainment. While news of this long-impending, well-drawn out reunion of course comes as a welcome surprise, the issue here per se is the glaring gap in new music from the girl group as a unit. While Jennie, Lisa and even Rose for that matter have minted pretty formidable global footprints as solo idols, fact still stands that BLACKPINK's last studio album, Born Pink, released back in 2022. Some comments expressing this sentiment read: "YG is the most unserious kpop agency i believe", "WHERE. IS. THE. ALBUM. Stop holding back. Stop testing our patience. Give our girls the comeback they deserve" and "yg ain't ever followed a deadline lmao", to quote a few. A post shared by YG Entertainment Official (@yg_ent_official) Either which way, are you excited for BLACKPINK to officially enter their Deadline era?

Blackpink is coming to Hong Kong on their world tour early next year

Globally popular Korean girl group Blackpink has announced the highly anticipated Asia leg of their Deadline world tour, and Hong Kong's on their schedule! After touring around the US, Europe, and the UK this summer, the four-piece band will take a break before picking back up in October with Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Japan, then finally wrap up their tour in Hong Kong. The last time Blackpink was in town was during their Born Pink world tour, when they played three concerts at the AsiaWorld-Expo in early 2023. That was the highest-grossing tour by a girl group, and with the release of several successful solo projects from Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa since then, we can only expect even more people to want to see them perform live now. Since Hong Kong is the final stop on their Deadline tour, we're also keeping our fingers crossed they end things with a bang and jazz things up for our shows. Blackpink will take the stage at the Kai Tak Stadium on Saturday, January 24, 2026 and Sunday, January 25, 2026. The first round of tickets will be released in a Weverse presale on June 10, followed by a Visa presale on June 11, then a presale on June 12. The ticket sales will then open to the general public at 11am on Friday, June 13. In order to access first dibs on tickets, sign up for a Blink membership on Weverse, register for the presale by June 1 to get verified, then enter your Blink membership number – inclusive of all alphabetic characters and numbers – during the presale. Visa will also soon announce promotions, activities, and more for Blackpink's Asia fans. Watch this space for ticketing information and other details to come.
