Born on July 31, 1931, in Warren, Ohio, Martha's journey began as a bright light in this world, and she continued to shine her warmth upon us until her peaceful passing in Columbiana, Ohio. James, Sr., (of whom she was married for 71 years) and the proud mother to her children. Though she endured the heart-wrenching loss of her son, Ronald A. James, Jr., she remained a steadfast pillar for her surviving sons, Leonard, Robin, Clifford and Troy and her daughter, Lisa Lee. She had 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was also a great-great-grandmother. Her life was a testament to the enduring strength of a woman's love and the unbreakable bonds of family. Martha chose the path of a homemaker, a role she filled with grace and dedication. Her home was a haven of comfort and joy and she poured her soul into nurturing her family, creating a legacy of warmth and hospitality that would resonate through generations. Martha's passions were simple yet profound. Her love for Gospel music was as deep as her faith and she found solace and joy in the harmonies that spoke to her spirit.
