Kristin Cavallari kisses her rarely seen son on his 11th birthday as they celebrate in a luxurious way
Kristin Cavallari heartwarmingly celebrated her son Jaxon's 11th birthday this week, complete with streamers, balloons and a fancy dinner at an upscale steakhouse. The 38-year-old, who shot to fame on Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and The Hills, posted photos of the festivities to Instagram. She adorably dressed her son up in a suit and herself in a stylish cocktail dress to dine at Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina, which offers dazzling views of Nashville from the 34th floor of the local JW Marriott. Luxurious menu items include a wagyu tasting trio for $650, a 40oz Black Hawk Farms wagyu tomahawk ribeye for $325, an 8oz Stone Axe New York strip for $130 and a 22oz 50 day dry-aged 'cowboy' ribeye for $115. Before heading off to the eatery, they posed for a few sweet pictures in Kristin's kitchen, including one where she pulled him in and kissed his temple. 'Happy 11th birthday to my baby bull, Jaxy,' wrote Kristin in a caption accompanying the photos, along with a glowing testimonial to her middle child. She shares Jaxon, her son Camden, 12, and her daughter Saylor, nine, with former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler, whom she was married to from 2013 to 2022. 'You're the funniest guy I know, you're always up for a good time, and you're a true gentleman with the biggest heart,' Kristin wrote of Jaxon. 'Never change, buddy, just keep growing into the incredible young man that you are. I love you so much.' The wholesome family outing came just a couple of days after a trailer debuted for Kristin's upcoming reality show Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour. Airing on E!, the show promises to pull the curtain back on her recent speaking tour, in which she made a string of candid confessions about her sex life. A bold new admission surfaced in the new trailer, with Kristin admitting that Too Hot To Handle hunk Harry Jowsey once sent her a 'd*** pic.' She dropped the revelation while Harry was appearing onstage with her during one of the stops on her recent tour this March. The trailer then cuts to Kristin showing the explicit picture to her best friend Justin Anderson, who is seen exclaiming: 'It's gigantic!' Harry previously appeared on her podcast in January, joking he was 'breaking his celibacy streak' with her after abstaining from sex since his father died a month prior. In one notable moment from her recent tour, Kristin gave a saucy answer when she was asked which of her exes she would spend the rest of her life with. She picked her recent boyfriend, 24-year-old TikTok beefcake Mark Estes, 'because I can have really good sex for the rest of my life.' Kristin made the admission during a recent stop on Honestly Cavallari, the tour of her Let's Be Honest podcast, as seen in footage obtained by TMZ. Over the past several months, Kristin has lifted the curtain on her star-studded past, dishing that action movie hunk Jason Statham was her 'hottest hookup.' The Nashville-based reality star also candidly confessed to having a fling with country heartthrob Morgan Wallen, whom she described as 'a great f*** buddy.' She clarified that their encounter was not 'romantic,' but added that he was a 'gentleman' with a 'big heart,' on Bunnie XO's podcast Dumb Blonde. During her time as an MTV reality star, she was linked to her castmate Stephen Colletti, and she has since run around with Brody Jenner and Justin Bobby. While on Laguna Beach, she and her co-star Lauren Conrad were shown to be in a love triangle that involved them competing over Stephen Colletti. However, a few years ago, the two women revealed that they were in fact both dallying with their other castmate Talan Torriero at the time. During a recent tour date, Kristin claimed that Lindsay Lohan once found her in bed with Talan and began throwing kitchenware as a result. 'We go up to LA to stay with Talan and we're all sleeping. I'm sleeping in bed with Talan. We did not hook up this night,' said Kristin onstage, via Us Weekly. '[Lindsay] comes in, sees that I'm in bed with Talan — nothing has happened — [but] she sees that there's a girl in bed with Talan and she freaks the f*** out.' Kristin shared her theory that 'obviously something happened' between Lindsay and Talan, adding: 'She sees that I'm in bed [and] she goes upstairs, her and her girlfriends, [and] into the kitchen. She's taking glasses out and throwing them!' Talan, who was onstage with Kristin, corrected her, saying that Lindsay was not hurling glasses but was rather tossing plates.

Boynton to Boca, what's new in Southern Palm Beach County's restaurant scene in 2025
We are still early in the year, but already southern Palm Beach County is vibrating with new arrivals on its already significant restaurant scene. And the variety is noteworthy, from Mexican fare and pizza to Argentinian steak and Italian. From Boynton Beach to Boca Raton, we took note of these eight arrivals. We recommend you check them out too. Remember, these are the latest additions. Good food abounds in the county's southern reaches, including the recent Michelin "selected" Nicholson Muir Distinguished Meats in Boynton Beach. And Delray Beach can boast Death by Pizza, which topped The Palm Beach Post's reader's choice show down in 2024 and came in a very respectable second in the 2025 rounds. Boynton Beach Paloma Paloma is Boynton Beach's newest Mexican restaurant. This new Mexican restaurant opened on Feb. 25 in the downtown area of Boynton Beach. Featuring a slogan that states "Handcrafted Mexican Cuisine, Made with Love," Paloma features many classics like tacos, fajitas, quesadillas, enchiladas, and burritos. Details: 510 E. Ocean Ave., Boynton Beach. Delray Beach Gesto Taking over the space formerly occupied by the recently moved Amar Mediterranean Kitchen & Bar, this new restaurant is all about pizzas with a hybrid sourdough crust cooked to lightly-charred perfection. A product of Kurban Hospitality Group, Gesto opened Feb. 19 and uses only Italian flour and top of the line ingredients. Owner Nicholas Kurban said 'Pizza is a science, but great pizza is an art." With a wood-fired oven that cooks pies in under four minutes and a 15 second margin of error that either means perfection or start over, that artistry is on full display. Running that oven is seasoned pizzaiolo and artisan baker Garri Banar. With a passion for pizza and deep understanding of fermentation and flour, he has perfected a dough that is crisp, yet airy, with beautifully-blistered pockets and a delicate chew. Details: 522 E. Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach. Bourbon Steak The vision of James Beard Award-winning chef and restaurateur Michael Mina, Bourbon Steak opened at The Seagate on Atlantic Avenue in March. Though specializing in high-quality cuts of American beef, Kobe beef, and wagyu, they are located only steps from the ocean and will feature plenty of fresh seafood and shellfish options. Way more than your basic steakhouse, Bourbon Steak slow poaches their steaks in butter before finishing them on a 900-degree, wood-fired grill. One dish in particular Mina said is popular across all the properties is the Maine lobster pot pie which is show in itself when served tableside. Details: 1000 E. Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach. Novecento This popular Argentinian steakhouse concept opened their Delray Beach location in the historic Falcon House on Jan. 17. The menu features dishes from crudos and Milangas to risotto and house cut-and-rolled pasta. There's also Parrillada, a mixed grill platter. This shareable signature specialty is plated with Prime hanger steak, chicken, chorizo and mollejas (sweetbreads) augmented with four sides. Grass-fed beef, however, is the star at Novecento with a dozen preparations from carpaccio and salads to grilled steak cuts. Walking in feels like visiting a friend's house. Despite its somewhat tiny size, the subtle refit maximizes space with several intimate dining rooms and a very pretty bar. Outside's vibe is casual and comfortable, reminiscent of a quaint inn. ~Diana Biederman Details: 116 NE Sixth Ave., Delray Beach. Gabriella's Modern Italian This new Delray Beach restaurant with New Jersey roots opened their doors on March 5. Described by owner Frankie Brusco as "more Italian, less steakhouse" than its sister restaurant Gabriella's Italian Steakhouse in Monmouth County, New Jersey, the restaurant features all-new construction with both indoor and outdoor seating. The Delray Beach location was designed by Celano Design Studio Co. out of Manhattan. Firecracker shrimp, truffle ricotta, signature spicy ricotta and the beautiful bistecca alla fiorentina for two are just some of the dishes awaiting guests. Details: 40 NE Seventh Ave., Delray Beach. Boca Raton Motek No longer requiring a pilgrimage to the '305,' Palm Beach County welcomed it's first Motek on April 2. Featuring Mediterranean cuisine, this is the seventh Motek location and the first not located in Miami-Dade County. Situated on Town Center Road in Boca Raton, their menu features dishes with influences from Lebanon, Turkey, Yemen, Morocco and more. Among diners' favorites, the "shakshuka for brunch is the top seller," said regional district manager Alexander Odishelidze. The chicken and lamb shawarma plates and sandwiches are also huge hits as is the schnitzel, he said. A 'must try' is their award-winning Arayes Burger. Featuring kosher, grass-fed beef kofta kebab (ground beef, spices, onions, garlic) it is served in a pita and won the People's Choice category at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival Burger Bash in 2022 and 2023. In addition to the food, the entire interior is designed transport guests to the eastern Mediterranean. Details: 5377 Town Center Road, Boca Raton. 105 Boca Raton's glitzy new Peruvian restaurant, guided by chef/proprietor Juan Chipoco, opened in Boca Raton in early January. Featuring a menu that focuses on creative ceviches (although there are tasty beef and bird options as well), this the sixth 105 location and first in Palm Beach County. Those ceviches are made with daily fresh catches that are sourced locally along with 'spectacular' fish that are flown in from Japan every other day. The Aventura outpost boasts Tripadvisor's tip-top ranking of more than 100 restaurants in that community. Chipoco's first Miami restaurant at 105 NE Third Ave. is ranked No. 8 overall among more than 4,300 listed. ~Diana Biederman Details: 6000 Glades Road, Boca Raton. Stage Business partners Andy Dugard and chef Pushkar Marathe opened the second location of their wildly popular restaurant in Boca Raton on March 10. Known for their Indian-inspired small plates, the new Stage (pronounced "staahj") draws inspiration from the original, Palm Beach Gardens location. Anna Woodman, who created the look at the original Stage, also designed this location. There are eye-catching decor accents at every turn. Weather permitting, there might be no better place than front patio dining with its flattering lighting. The original Stage in Palm Beach Gardens won a coveted 2024 USA Today Restaurants of the Year spot on a highly competitive list featuring America's 47 best places to dine out. ~Diana Biederman Pushkar Marathe is executive chef and co-owner of nationally acclaimed Stage Kitchen & Bar in Palm Beach Gardens and Boca Raton. With business partner Andy Dugard, Marathe also leads Ela Curry & Cocktails and Mango Mercato. Details: 5377 Town Center Road, Boca Raton. The company also recently offered some advice on how to eat free at Disney World this year, but the option is only for people who buy multi-day packages. The crab hush puppies are golden and crisp, served with a sweet corn remoulade and scallions for the perfect bite of richness and freshness. The duck fried rice layers duck confit, sesame, scallion, house-made rayu and a fried egg, creating a deeply savory, umami-packed dish that demands to be devoured. Cocktails are solid, but a Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley pairs beautifully with the duck fried rice, bringing just the right balance to every bite. Uchi dishes The name Uchi means 'house' in Japanese, and stepping inside feels exactly like that—warm, intimate and effortlessly refined. Founded by James Beard Award-winning chef Tyson Cole, this modern Japanese spot blends elevated food with impeccable service, offering non-traditional sushi, signature tastings and a seasonal omakase. With so many knockout options, if you get overwhelmed, let the chefs take the lead— go for omakase. Local favorites include the Kinoko Nabe, a deeply savory mushroom dish with layers of umami and the Wagyu Carpaccio, where rich, marbled beef meets just the right amount of heat and acidity. The Hamachi Kama (yellowtail collar), one of the most underrated cuts of the fish, is lightly charred and served with unexpected bursts of pineapple flavor, proving that sometimes, the best bites are the ones hiding in plain sight.
