Delaney Rowe discusses relationship trust issues amid BJ Novak romance speculation
TikTok personality Delaney Rowe recently opened up about challenges in her personal life during an appearance on the Boy Problems podcast hosted by Liz Plank. The 29-year-old, who was romantically linked to The Office actor B.J. Novak in late 2024, spoke candidly about a current relationship, though she did not identify her partner by name. "I'm not like, you know, the cuffs aren't on—like I'm not fully boo'ed up—but I am dating, and it's going okay," Rowe shared. She admitted to being noncommittal earlier in the relationship, which may have contributed to recent tension. "I was the problem... I was not sure, and so I was sort of noncommittal for a long period of time when he was like very sure. And so now I am sure and he's like, 'I don't really trust your intentions at this point.'" Following the release of the podcast, social media users quickly reacted, criticizing the unnamed partner's behavior. One Reddit user commented, "That is not a man you should be fighting for girl." Others described the dynamic as "manipulating," "gaslighting," and even "emotionally abusive." Several users suggested the man may have initially 'love-bombed' Rowe, only to withdraw once she expressed deeper commitment. Rowe and Novak first sparked dating rumors in November 2024 after being photographed together at The Standard in New York City. They were later seen at the Bowery Hotel in December. Novak has long been the subject of speculation regarding his relationship with former Office co-star Mindy Kaling, with whom he shares a close, though publicly platonic, bond.
