Horrifying moment Emmerdale's April comes face to face with man who committed disgusting act on her while homeless
EMMERDALE's April Windsor has come face to face with a vile man she endured during her time living on the streets. The teen, who spent time pregnant and homeless, unwittingly ran into a man who she encountered during her time sleeping rough. 5 5 5 Fans of Emmerdale will recall how April disappeared at Christmas amid her secret pregnancy and family unrest. She lived on the streets before eventually finding a squat where she stayed and begged for cash on the streets as well as witnessing brutal murders and attacks. April suffered her own trauma when she miscarried whilst homeless before being raced to hospital suffering from complications. Now, in scenes broadcast during the latest Emmerdale episode, April is forced to relive her horror ordeal when she comes face-to-face with a man who suggested he could perform a disgusting act on her because she was homeless. In the episode, April began working alongside Belle and the Take A Vow business amid struggles with schooling. She was tasked with helping out with a local christening and filming the day's proceedings. But when the dad of the child set to be christened walked into The Woolpack, April was visibly taken aback. A flashback then saw April sleeping rough as two drunk guys approached her. One man could be heard asking: "Why are we so wasted?" The other man then stated that he was "bursting" in a reference to needing to use the toilet. Emmerdale newcomer Bradley Riches reveals soap bosses allowed him to re-write his scripts for new role as Lewis Barton His pal then shockingly encouraged him to "go on him" after mistaking April for a man. Hitting back, the vile man then said: "Him? You need your eyes testing, he is a little girl." Then then asked April if she wanted a drink before throwing their remaining beer at her as the man begin to tug at his belt and unzip his jeans. April then began to get up and attempt to flee the situation as the man in question continued to unbuckle his trousers with a plan to urinate on her. 5 5 The homeless teen managed to get away with the man shouting a shocking comment to her, having already referenced one vile act. As he tugged at his jeans once more, he remarked: "Fancy earning yourself a quick fiver, do you?" The scene then cut back to April as she looked on in fear inside the pub. But will April tell everyone about her encounter with the vile man? Or will it be another secret she is forced to live with from her time on the streets? Soap's most harrowing teen storylines We take a look at other harrowing teen soap storylines from soaps Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks. Belle Dingle's schizophrenia in Emmerdale - Belle's (Eden Taylor-Draper) traumatic journey in Emmerdale took a dark turn when, after accidentally killing her best friend Gemma at just 16, her mental health began to spiral. Hannah Ashworth's anorexia in Hollyoaks - Viewers were horrified as they watched Hannah (Emma Rigby), a seemingly innocent teen, spiral into dangerous behavior, starving herself in an attempt to achieve what she thought was the ideal body. Emmerdale newcomer Bradley Riches reveals soap bosses allowed him to re-write his scripts for new role as Lewis Barton
EMMERDALE newcomer Bradley Riches has admitted soap bosses allowed him to re-write parts of the script after joining the programme as Lewis Barton. The Netflix actor was unveiled as the ITV soap's new star signing earlier this year and has already become a fan favourite among the viewers of the show. 4 4 Like Bradley, Lewis is autistic and the actor has worked with show bosses in order to carve out the best ways of accurately portraying a character such as Lewis. Speaking to The Sun alongside co-star Natalie J. Robb at this year's British Soap Awards, he revealed how he had been allowed to make changes to the script and dialogue for his character. Heartstopper actor Bradley told us: "I think when they first said he was a neurodivergent character, an autistic character - they were like we really want to use the language that Bradley would use. "They were very open with that. "When I got the first script, for me personally, I don't say 'I have autism', because it feels like an extension - I just say 'I'm autistic' because it is part of me. "So little lines like that I changed and they were very open to that and understanding." He continued: "A lot of the things that people don't understand about Lewis are probably because he is an autistic character. "Him hyperfixating on what the hell happened to his mum and Moira is like 'she was a crazy woman' but he is hyperfixating on what happened to his mum. "He is tunnel vision until he knows the truth." His character Lewis has already begun to cause chaos in the Dales after discovering the true secrets of his biological family. Emmerdale's Amy Walsh admits she took mass soap axing 'personally' Despite initially bonding with his brother Ross Barton, he soon began to fall out with his family as the truth behind his mother Emma's murder came to light. It saw Lewis vow to run to the cops and tell them that it was in fact Moira who killed Emma and not her son, Adam, like they believe. Fans will remember that Adam covered for his mum and took the blame for the killing and went on the run as a result. The incident has largely been forgotten about until Lewis' shock appearance in the village. Bradley first rose to fame in Netflix's smash hit drama, Heartstopper. He then appeared as a housemate in the first revival series of Celebrity Big Brother on ITV last year and was cruelly evicted through the back door just days before the show's final. 4 4

Emmerdale fans ‘work out' shock paternity twist for Ross Barton's new brother Lewis – and it's bad news for Moira Dingle
EMMERDALE fans think they have worked out a shocking paternity twist after Lewis Barton made his soap debut. Netflix actor Bradley Riches made his first appearance on the ITV programme last night as the long-lost brother of Ross Barton. 4 4 Ross and his aunt Moira were left shocked to discover that there was another member of the family in Lewis. Lewis' mum is Emma Barton - meaning he is the half-brother of Ross, Pete and the dead Finn. It appeared to transpire that Emma gave birth to Lewis during time apart from husband James Barton when they split and soon had him adopted. The rest of the Barton clan had no clue about Lewis' existence until he sent a letter to the family at Butler's Farm. Ross and Lewis later agreed to meet but soon, Ross decided that he wasn't interested in building a connection and left Lewis hanging. However, fans think there is another twist in the tale still to come. In a mind-blowing DNA twist, some Emmerdale viewers have speculated that Cain Dingle could be the father of Lewis. As fans passed their theories on who it could be, one suggested: "Cain I bet." Someone else echoed this, as they wrote: "He could pass as Cain's son." Suspicion continued as another wrote: "I suspect there might be a twist so maybe." Actor Bradley - who also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother last year - recently revealed how he got the role on Emmerdale. He bumped into a producer from the soap at the National Television Awards and got chatting. And while originally he auditioned for the role of Dylan, April Windsor's homeless pal, instead he was offered the role of Lewis. 4
