Basin Bites: Ball Park edition
MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – This week's Basin Bites took us to the ballpark. With a new season underway for the Midland RockHounds, the organization has decided to add a few new items to the menu.
'I think it was just that, you know, we wanted to be a little bit more creative, right?' says General Manager of Food and Beverage, Brady Hochhalter. 'We kind of got into, when we sat down at the beginning of the year, it was, hey, you know, what do we need to do to elevate the fan experience while they're out here at the ball game? And it's not just hot dogs and nachos, right? It's how can we take that fan experience and really elevate it with our food. So, trying to be a little bit more creative and put some items together.'
Those new items are a Philly cheesesteak hot dog, the Landman burger, and a souvenir helmet filled with chicken tenders and fries.
