Yogi Babu to act with Brahmanandam in Telugu film debut
Yogi Babu shared, 'I am truly elated and overwhelmed by the warm reception I have received from the Telugu industry.' Actor-comedian Yogi Babu will be making his Telugu debut in a film titled Gurram Paapi Reddy , starring Naresh Agastya and Faria Abdullah in the lead roles. While the actor has been seen in Telugudubbed versions of his Tamil films, this one will mark his first straight Telugu film. Speaking about stepping into Tollywood, Yogi Babu shared, 'I am truly elated and overwhelmed by the warm reception I have received from the Telugu industry.' Yogi Babu will be teaming up with Telugu comedy legend Bramhanandam in the film. As a welcome gesture, Brahmanandam invited the actor to his residence and gifted the latter a copy of his autobiography, Nenu. Appreciating the veteran for his warm gesture, Yogi Babu said, 'Being welcomed so graciously by a legendary figure like Brahmanandam sir is a moment I will cherish forever. His gesture of gifting me his book was deeply touching.'

GPS error sends 4 Andhra fishermen across border, detained by Sri Lanka Navy
Four fishermen from Andhra Pradesh were detained by the Sri Lankan Navy after their boat reportedly crossed into Sri Lankan territorial to initial reports, their vessel unintentionally drifted beyond the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL) due to a GPS malfunction that displayed incorrect fishermen were on their way back to Kakinada after purchasing a boat in Tamil Nadu when the incident The arrested fishermen have been identified as Brahmanandam, Nukaraju, Nageswara Rao, and Srinu, hailing from Kakinada and Konaseema districts of Andhra interception, the Sri Lankan Navy handed them over to the authorities, following which a local court ordered a 14 day judicial remand. The four are currently lodged in Jaffna Consul General in Jaffna has taken up the matter with Sri Lanka's Fisheries Minister. The Sri Lankan government has assured that the fishermen will be released after a formal inquiry, which is scheduled to take place on August the families of the detained fishermen have appealed to the Indian government, urging swift action to secure their release. The news was announced with pictures of Yogi and Brahmanandam greeting each other. According to a press release, the two actors bonded well during the shoot of the film, after which Brahmanandam personally invited Yogi to his residence and spent some quality time sharing laughter and stories. Veteran actor-comedian Kota Srinivasa Rao died at age 83 on Sunday in Hyderabad due to an illness. Numerous celebrities, including his close friend Brahmanandam, went to his Filmnagar home to pay their respects. Talking to the press after meeting the grieving family, Brahmanandam broke down while remembering his friend. Brahmanandam breaks down while talking about Kota Srinivasa Rao Brahmanandam recollected how there was a time in Tollywood when he, Kota and Babu Mohan would be cast in every film. He said, 'Kota Srinivasa Rao and I have acted together in hundreds of films. I don't need to specifically tell everyone how great an actor he was. There was a decade when Kota, Babu Mohan and I would be in every film made. We worked together 18-20 hours per day.' While trying to hold back tears, Brahmanandam continued to talk about their friendship and said, 'For four decades now, arey orey anukuntu kalisi unnam (we've been close friends).
