Braith Anasta's ex-fiancée Rachael Lee has debuted her new engagement ring just days after her Bra Boys boyfriend Evan Faulks proposed during a romantic trip to Uluru. In Instagram footage, Rachael proudly moved her hand back and forth to showcase her new bling. The ring features a round cut diamond on a platinum or white gold band. 'Excitement levels high. Just picked up my gorgeous, perfect, most sentimental, beautiful engagement ring. Happiness overload,' Rachael captioned the clip. The mother-of-two announced her exciting engagement news in an Instagram post last week. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. She shared a video and pictures of Evan proposing during a trip to Uluru. In the clip, Evan was seen getting down on one knee in a romantic outback setting at sunset. With tears of joy streaming down her face, the couple embraced and kiss. 'I knew from the moment I seen you, it was going to be forever - The universe always has a plan.. I love you always x,' Rachael wrote in the caption. 'FuturesMrsFaulks yippiiieee xx.' Rachael's new engagement ring is much more demure than the massive bling Braith got down on one knee with back in October 2019. He proposed with a sparkler was designed by Shannakian Fine Jewellery, which featured a massive 4.28ct diamond set in an 18ct rose gold band. The pair called time on their relationship in November 2022, after months of rumours. Meanwhile, Rachael opened up about her relationship with Evan last month. She told The Sunday Telegraph her romance is 'so beautiful and deep' and Evan was an amazing presence in her children Addison, 13, and seven-year-old Gigi's lives. 'My relationship with Evan is something I've never had before,' she said. 'I feel so beyond lucky to have him in mine, Addi and Gigi's lives. Evan is such an honest, loyal and kind soul and a really great father and partner.' She also hinted they have 'really exciting future plans happening together'. Rachael added she and Braith have been navigating the role of co- parenting their daughter Gigi. 'Co-parenting comes with its ups and downs, and a lot of agreeing to disagree,' she added. Evan has been romantically involved with Rachael since the start of last year. They reportedly met at Crown Plaza in Coogee over Christmas the year before and were photographed together in public for the first time in May 2024 celebrating her 36th birthday.

Channel Nine footy show stars Phil Gould and Michael Chammas have off-camera blow-up after fiery clash on live TV
It's been revealed that the heated exchange between Bulldogs kingpin Phil Gould and rugby league journalist Michael Chammas on Monday night's edition of Nine's 100% Footy show kept going once the cameras were off. The tense on-air clash saw Gould denying accusations that he misled the public about signing young playmaker Lachlan Galvin. Galvin is expected to join Canterbury after the Tigers agreed to give the 19-year-old an early release from his contract. The bombshell development occurred just a couple of weeks after Gould said his club had no intention of chasing Galvin. Gould has since stated that 'the goalposts shifted last week', referring to the Tigers backflipping on their earlier stance that they wouldn't release Galvin until his contract expired at the end of next season. 'How did I mislead you on Lachlan Galvin?' Gould asked Chammas. 'I never said I wasn't interested. What I said was we're on a different course, he's not in our plans because he wasn't off contract until 2027. 'You're summising that because it's happened. You want that to be the truth. You want that to be the truth, that's the scenario you want to create. I didn't see it happening that way at all, not at all. 'You go back and review everything I've said about Lachlan Galvin and what transpired and everything I said was 100 per cent the truth at the time.' Gould finished off his tirade by saying: 'I didn't mislead anyone... Mind your words, son.' NRL great Braith Anasta revealed on Tuesday night that the stoush didn't end once they were off-air. 'Gould and Chammas last night, work colleagues, went toe to toe on air, we all saw it. Apparently it went beyond there, off-air,' Anasta said on NRL 360. Reporter James Hooper responded: 'Watching it live, it felt like they were sort of forced into an ad break because it looked like it was starting to get a little bit overly heated and then when it did cut to the ad break, talking to people who were there today, they certainly suggested that Gus wasn't overly happy. 'I think there might have been a couple of expletives, he felt as though his integrity had been questioned. They kept going toe to toe, after it cut to an ad break there were definitely further words exchanged.' Reporter Phil Rothfield also commented on the exchange, saying Gould's reputation has taken a serious hit. 'I reckon he's been seriously damaged credibility wise and his reputation has been severely damaged at Channel 9 over this,' Rothfield said on the Off the Record podcast. 'I think the punters are awake to it and they are the lifeblood of every TV network that provides the ratings. I honestly think he's been badly damaged and people won't cop his bullsh** anymore.' 'Rugby league officials do lie and it's a fact we have to live with but when you are being paid nearly $1 million to sit on a (TV) panel, you are there to inform and say the truth. But this is where Gus gets himself into an awkward situation. As a viewer, he hasn't been upfront with us.' Gould has insisted Galvin's looming arrival won't destabilise the table-topping Bulldogs, after their best start to a season in 23 years. Asked if he was worried that Galvin's arrival could cause animosity from other players if he was to take their spot, Gould was defiant. 'No. None at all. That's the least of my worries,' Gould said on the Nine Network's 100% Footy. 'I don't think anyone denies he is a talent. And you win premierships with talented players. It's my responsibility to get talented players into the club. 'I think it will create great competition, that's what it'll create if he turns up.

‘Felt his integrity was questioned': New details emerge as Gould's stoush with journo continued off-air
It has been revealed the TV stoush between Bulldogs general manager Phil Gould and veteran rugby league journalist Michael Chammas continued off-air on Monday night. Gould was making his regular weekly appearance on '100% Footy' and claimed he did not 'mislead' the public by signing Lachlan Galvin. But he was challenged on the program by Chammas and Gould took particular issue with the Sydney Morning Herald journalist's suggestion that he had misled people. 'Gould and Chammas last night, work colleagues, went toe to toe on air, we all saw it. Apparently it went beyond there, off-air,' Braith Anasta said on NRL 360 on Tuesday night. 'Watching it live, it felt like they were sort of forced into an ad break because it looked like it was starting to get a little bit overly heated and then when it did cut to the ad break, talking to people who were there today, they certainly suggested that Gus wasn't overly happy,' James Hooper responded. 'I think there might have been a couple of expletives, he felt as though his integrity had been questioned. They kept going toe to toe, after it cut to an ad break there were definitely further words exchanged.' Anasta, who has known Gould for more than 25 years, praised Chammas for holding his ground. Watch the heated exchange between Gould and Chammas in the video above 'It's very rare that Gus gets questioned about his actions and his comments and I love the fact that, right or wrong, Chammas didn't back down,' he said. 'He backed himself, he continued to take him on and Gus is an intimidating guy. 'And not only because he's one of the brightest minds in our game but he's one of the most experienced and powerful and intimidating. And Chammas just went for it and didn't take backward step and you've got to respect that. Not many guys have got the you know what to do that and I thought Mick did a good job.' Paul Crawley called on the NRL to better enforce the salary cap with Galvin leaving a huge amount of money on the table at the Tigers to join the Dogs. 'It could be all above board but there are clubs out there who rightfully question how a guy that was offered $1 million a season has now accepted $300,000 less a season,' Crawley said. 'It's a stain on the salary cap that we don't have any transparency when it comes to third parties and contracts. 'The Canberra Raiders offered Leo Thompson $800,000 a season but he's gone (to the Bulldogs) for massive unders and now Lachlan Galvin goes there for massive unders. 'The salary cap is what's supposed to make it a fair and level playing field.' But 2004 Bulldogs premiership winner Anasta, who is now a player agent, offered another perspective. 'I think it says more about the clubs they're leaving than the ones they're going to,' he said. 'I would take $200,000 less to go to a club to win a premiership because apart from having kids it's the best feeling in my life. There is no better feeling. 'When you're a player like Lachlan Galvin who goes into the Bulldogs system for $200,000 or $300,000 less… he's got 15 years in our game, his value is going to go up, he's going to make millions of dollars over that time and he's going to be financially secure. 'There are limited premiership windows at certain clubs at certain times and the Bulldogs are in one right now and if he was my client I'd be pushing him to the Bulldogs. 'I'd say go there, you're going to get developed, you'll become a better player by the time you leave, your value is going to go up every year and you've got a chance of winning a premiership. 'Take $200,000 less now for longevity and your value in the game, that's a smart decision.'

Queensland Origin star Cameron Munster delivers ELITE sledge on live TV from aimed at his own player manager Braith Anasta
Queensland Origin star Cameron Munster is renowned for his sense of humour - and the five-eighth's latest target was his own player manager Braith Anasta. Munster, 30, appeared on NRL 360 on Monday from the Maroons camp where it emerged Anasta had to express post his client's boots and mouthguard after they were recently left in Sydney. The veteran of 18 Origin appearances dating back to 2017 was at his self-deprecating best, declaring he can be a 'speedbump' in defence before talk turned to Munster being reportedly spotted with notorious player agent Isaac Moses. After praising veteran scribe Phil 'Buzz' Rothfield for his question, Munster then displayed his cheeky side on live television. 'That's probably why I was catching up with him at the café,' Munster continued. 'I need a little bit more money and third parties and unfortunately my old manager Braith Anasta didn't do enough for me. 'He's too busy looking pretty and putting himself in the Daily Mail every week.' Anasta was left red-faced with the NRL 360 panel all in stitches as Munster playfully referenced Anasta's love life, which often features in this publication. The premiership winner with the Bulldogs has two daughters, Aleeia and her half-sister Gigi, with Anasta often posting family celebrations on social media. Anasta shares Aleeia with his ex-wife, one-time Home and Away star Jodi Gordon and Gigi with his ex-partner Rachael Lee. In June last year, a source confirmed to Daily Mail Australia the former NRL star had quietly split from mum-of-two Evie Tziomakis. Meanwhile, Daly Cherry-Evans is elated Munster was available for Queensland selection after he was ruled out of the 2024 series with hip and groin issues. 'It's really good to have him back,' the Maroons captain said. 'There are a lot of boys in this camp that are really happy to see we (also) have to put up with him leading up to it, which is sometimes punishing. 'But it's all worth it when he plays like he plays.'
